Score Update, Verdict and News

Chelsea have been the stronger team but they have not been taking their good chances and have been a bit loose all over the field tonight. Liverpool have to keep defending well and maybe score on the counter attack or with added pressure.

Current Scoreline: Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool

I think there should be a vbookie event on getting to the final out of Liverpool and Chelsea!

However from a neutral viewpoint, the first half was great, the 2nd was pretty boring really, with it being really tight and hardly any chances created.

No away goal might come back to haunt Liverpool as being the home team in the 2nd leg, they will have to pushup more, leaving Chelsea more gaps to possibly exploit on the counter

Also,Xabi Alonso is suspended for the next match.

That is a big blow for Liverpool.

This is a real email sent out by Chelseas Corporate people:

Dear Corporate Member

With Chelsea FC playing in the Champions League Final in Istanbul on 25 May 2005 we are in the process of planning a corporate trip. We are trying to establish the interest in such a trip and are inviting you to pre-register and therefore arrangements can then be made based on those numbers. Apologies if you have already received this email.

We would appreciate if you could respond to this email to advise:
You do not wish to travel to Istanbul OR
You intend to travel to Istanbul but will make your own arrangements
OR
You are interested in our corporate trip and the number of places you
require ( May we remind you that you are permitted to book 1 place
per corporate seat held)
Based on this information you give us we will either not contact you again or will be in touch with the details of the package.

Our package will take the usual format of a 2 night trip with the cost likely to be higher than Munich and Barcelona due to the longer flight and higher hotel costs and as a guideline will be in the region of ?1500 + corporate match ticket.

We cannot assist with any match ticket only enquiries - this is via Corporate Sales at Chelsea FC.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards

Perhaps..although from Radio Merseyside - "stevie Gerrard and his agent have just opened contract talks with Rick Parry over a new deal that will keep him at the club for 5 years"

Doesn't that email just make you want to put some reps on Liverpool though!

Look at that - 418 vs 25

Very even I must say ;)

Btw,I bet 100 rep points on Chelsea :)
