well i was thinking to bet on liverpool as they are playing on home but then double the lead of liverpool as i voted chelsea

This is guranteed to be an exciting Premiership weekend. Chelsea could win the title at the Reebok, Norwich could be out of the relegation zone with a win at St Mary's, and Everton and Liverpool's quest for Champions League Football hots up.

This weekend's Premiership Fixtures:
Sat- 30 Apr 05
Birmingham v Blackburn
Fulham v Everton
Liverpool v Middlesbrough
Man City v Portsmouth
Newcastle v Crystal Palace
Southampton v Norwich
Bolton v Chelsea

Sun- 01 May 05
Tottenham v Aston Villa
Charlton v Man United

The way I see it if we beat Fulham we've practically guarenteed 4th whatever Liverpool do. They've got two games left after today and one is against Arsenal.

Today is a important match for all concerned with Norwich City FC, as they travel to Southampton to play their fellow Premiership Survival Hopefuls.

Saint Mary's Stadium will be full as lots of supporters cram in. Harry Redknapp, Southampton Manager, has said that his side must win to keep alive their survival hopes in the closest relegation battle since the Premier League began in 1992.

I think the match will end with a one-all draw, but that would not be a good result for either team.

it's already one all-I think there are a lot more goals to come!

Reply and Update

After a really battling performance, Southampton beat Norwich City 4-3, in what was a terrific match. It is still very close in the Relegation Zone and anything can happen.

It was a historic day for Chelsea fans as Bolton lost 0-2 to their team, meaning that Chelsea became the Premiership Champions in their Centenary year. Frank Lampard scored both of the goals at the Reebok Stadium. They had last won the title in 1955, so they ended 50 years without a Championship Trophy. Now they have to play Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League Semi-Final to decide who will compete in the final in Istanbul. :)

The Southampton Norwich match was excellent. What a goal by Camara in the end :)

The Saints are out of the relegation zone now.

Even better,Chelsea have won the epl! :):):)

Hopefully they'll carry the momentum into the Second Leg on Tuesday.
