Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool
That's the top 4 sorted. Even if Man U win their last two and Arsenal lose theirs Arsenal's GD is 12 better.
More importantly Everton have secured 4th place.
So it will finish:
Chelski
Arsenal
Man Utd
Everton

:) :) :)

Now the premiership is starting to come together as the title and the Champions League places have been decided, but the UEFA cup places and the relegation battle are still to be decided. On the Ball City!

Any ideas about the Vbookie for the relegation battle? It could work like this:

Who will be relegated from the Premiership?

  • [*]Norwich
    [*]Crystal Palace
    [*]West Brom
    [*]Southampton

Gutted. I bet bloody Southampton will escape relegation...yet again. Up until the 93rd minute in yesterday's match Palace's fate next week was in their own hands; a win and we'll stay up. Now, even if we win at Charlton, we're relying on the likes of Man U and Fulham to do us a favour.

Is it true about Everton applying to get into the G14? I read their chairman was on Sky Sports News and said so.

Chelsea were rejected from it earlier this year but Everton proberbly have a better chance then Chelsea of getting into it.

Arsenal played really well against Liverpool and I think they deserved to win because they developed into a pattern and then in the first half found the break through with a superb free kick by Robert Pires which flew past Jerzy Dudek. The second was a great solo goal by Jose Antonio Reyes but Liverpool found a goal and did put some pressure on Arsenal in the second half although they never really look threatened. This win means that Arsenal take second place and Liverpool's bitter rivals Everton take the fourth Champions League place. Now I'm sure the saga will continue about if Liverpool win the Champions League should they have the chance to guard it next season even though they have not shown the consitency in the Premiership all season to qualify for it.

Well surely the criteria for entry isnt just having won the league twice and 2 trophys in Europe in their history. They will take a good few years before they should be allowed entry!

History shouldn't be the criteria. It should change membership based on who the top clubs are at any particular moment. It's just an elitist cartel otherwise.

Chances are very slim now for The Saints to escape.

They face Man Utd,who will be resting their main players for the FA Cup Final.

And Crouch is suspended.

What an idiot he was last week lashing out at that player.

I'll be supporting Fulham and Charlton for the first time ever ;)

In the Championship,Wigan and Sunderland have been promoted.

Imagine the sort of money Wigan will be having. They'll be able to invest in a Premiership Quality squad easily.

Lol its because I'd rather see Norwich relegated than Southampton.:p

COME ON STEED MALBRANQUE!!! ;)

for admin: i want here a poll about a question that "should winner of uefa be allowed automatic qualification for next uefa championship?" 1> yes 2> no.
and closing that of that poll should be before the finals of uefa.

A senior person of Uefa has said that he would like to see the rule change about Liverpool not being allowed into the Champions league.

He said that if Liverpool win it, UEFA will almost certainly give them a place next season, but the FA must make a formal request for another place first otherwise they will not do it. Source-Sky sports news

Everton were better and more consistent in the League. Therefore, its them who should play in the CL,not Liverpool.

There are rumours floating about that Chelsea have bought Essien for 14 Mil :)

THAT,will be a kick in the teeth for Man U.

First,Ronaldinho was snatched from them, then it was Robben, and now it is Essien :)
