Yes but to be honest, no one can compete with Chelsea's chequebook. It is said that they will bid up to ?70 million for Adriano, a ridiculous amount of money. This would be one of four players that Mourino wants.

Let's all (apart from Chelski fans) hope that Abramavichs empire collaspes so he will walk away from Chelsea. They can have Malcom Glazer instead! :

His aim is to make Chelsea the biggest club in the world.

I thought they were already or will be next season!!! Being "big" in football now is how much money you have, not neccesarily how many cups you have won.

I think Moyes should win it (though I would prefer Allardyce). Moyes has had to work on a small budget, (he could not buy a player after Rooney left becuase it was on deadline day). Also Thomas Graveson, their best player left to Real Madrid. It's a massive achievement for Everton to be in the Champions League.

The same can be said for Sam and Bolton

I don't like Allardyce's policy of buy old foreign players.

He better start investing in young talent,especially because of Uefa's new Rule about having some home grown players in your squad.

I think Moyes ought to win the award.Everton were struggling last season,and now they've finished in the top 4.

Same can be said of Bolton.They used to be a relegation battling side.

well i vote for no because i think every team who works hard in league should be deserve a qualification, not the team who wins uefa.

Yes, because why should the holders not be able to defend it. I think the top four should be allowed in it usually, but this is a rare occasion. Give Liverpool a qualififying place with Man United and Everton and give another place to another country to balance out the numbers. e.g. Turkey to balance out the numbers.

Actually I have just realised that that won't work in the group stages, but there still must be a way of getting Liverpool into the Champions league next season.
