And i'd like you all to remember that I FIRST SUGGESTED THAT GARETH BARRY BE GIVEN THE ENGLAND CAPTAINCY! Because he no doubt will be given it as soon as he joins Liverpool.

Why does no one call him Garry either? I've always wondered that.

I do think Barry is a good player, but he's not going to be the major influence for them winning the league.

Yeah, I'd take Huntelaar, or someone of that mould, Villa would be brilliant, but can't see that happening.

We're a different team now, we have Hargreaves, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, Fletcher and O'Shea can play there, why would we need another? I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy with the midfield that got us to the double.

Just because they're good doesn't mean they can't get better, do you think Sir Alex would have gotten anywhere with that attitude. Stop being a ciddy fan phil We're going to strengthen everywhere else so we might as well get a midfielder.

Yes, but its obvious the midfield doesn't need to be improved, Anderson is young and will be class next season, I'm tipping him to scored at least 10 goals. Carrick and Hargreaves are still relatively young, while Scholes will be around for another 1/2 years.

The difference being, we need a striker as we have 2 that are consistently fit, get rid of sicknote and buy a good striker. I'd rather spend 30 million on a great striker, than 15 million on a striker and on a midfielder.

yeah i agree because the midfield is as strong as it needs to be. we have enough depth aswell. If we just get Huntelaar, our team will be perfected.

If your looking for a striker, how about going for Inter Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic. 28 goals in 32 games can't be bad in Seria A.

I would respond to your post Phil but I can't do for a few weeks.

Ibrahimovic is class but then going from serie A to the premiership doesn't always work and Inter won't sell him for anythign less than a huge fee.
