Football Transfers Thread

I agree Phil. Ronaldo said he'd upset people. That could be aimed towards Madrid and Madrid fans meaning he's staying but the cocks of the media manipulate it into meaning "i'm leaving."

cheesy.

Anyway where does it say about transfer there? He sounds like a good player.
It's changed now, last night, it said that he had told Channel One (russian channel) reporters, that a deal had been agreed to join United.

Well The Age used a Guardian article today to say that Ronaldo feels it would be a 'dream move' to Real Madrid.

Phil is in worse denial than Elvis-spotters.

Thats the same story that is on the BBC!!!!!!!!! It's the same quote, but he doesn't mention Madrid at all in the interview!

I didn't think you knew about football anyway?

He's leaving. The dirty greasball. If I was a manc I wouldn't want him at the club anyway. Dirty disloyal greasball.

it seems as though arsenal are signing nasri:

?15.8m. That is still a lot and Nasri isn't brilliant.
yh same here...i mean thast basically the same money as we got for henry (although he was a lot older)...but still i mean arshavin is goin around the same price and think would be a much better buy as he has proven himself in his country, europe and the international scene...although wenger has had his eye on nasri for quite a while now so...

Personally, I don't see what the fuss about Ronaldo is all about. Yes he's a bloody good player, but I don't think United would suffer too much if he wasn't there. Take the cash, it's an obscene amount, and spend it wisely. They'll be contenders with or without him.

That's exactly what i've been saying for ages now. Sell the disloyal little gobshite. If he wants his 'dream move' then sell the little sod and take the ridiculous amount of money on the table. United fans are deluding themselves with thoguhts of him possibly saying. If a player wants to leave then he inevitably will leave and it's better to sell him for as much as possible. This is alarmingly similar to the Rooney transfer back in 2004. We Evertonians wanted to deny it as much as possible, but we all eventually realised that his mind was made up and we just had to get rid of him.

Let the dirty little greasy swine rot in Spain. He's become way too big for his own slimy greasy boots.
