He hasn't actually said he wants to leave though. I could be burying my head in the sand, but I won't believe it until I hear him actually say it.

And, even if he does go, selling him would be an embarrassment after we've kept insisting he's not for sale. A year or two down the line, when Nani and Anderson improve, Madrid will be after them, and we just leave ourselves totally open to them stealing them from us too. It's about the pride of MUFC.

It's catch 22 really, we sell him and look weak, we keep him and he's unhappy (providing he wants to leave). The only way out of it, would be if Madrid paid a ridiculous amount of money.

All the signs actually point he's wanting a new contract. He keeps setting deadlines, which could be seen as deadlines for United to offer him a new contract, and so far we've not backed down and given him one, and so he keeps putting the deadline back.

Lol yeah I saw that before, Crouch in for Adebayor would have the big boys of european football trembling. Can't see Adebayor going though.

Personally, I think Crouch would fit in at City, cos he's MASSIVE.
