Football Transfers Thread

Philippe Senderos has been spotted wandering around in Saint James' Park. When asked what he was up to, Senderos responded 'I thought I was marking Torres'

Yeah, well Abou Diaby have trumped whatever monetary wealth DICK Holding could have given to Liverpool

:p

That song was actually

He blags on the left
He blags on the right
Dimitar Berbatov blagged Citeh all night
:D

So, Man City have become the latest club to sell out, we may as well rename them Manchelski or something!

Some extracts from blue moon forum:

Just come home after working a 12hr shift. 1200 -0000. Whilst I was at work I noticed a real jelous streak in the tormenting rags. Everything they threw at me I was able to reply with more info about our new owner. I can tell you now they are Firmly ****ing rocked. They couldn't get back under the rocks fast enough when they knew I was around...Admittedly I had a certain Royal air about me today. Felt great!!!

So for all you City fans that have had the piss ripped out of you for the last 20yrs+ tomorrow when you go to work YOU WILL BE A KING and you will enjoy it. CITY ARE BACK and most important YOU ARE BACK!!!!!!! Keep the Faith and don't stop smiling.

One last thing to do hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahha the last laugh is the longest

lets just play all our attacking players and win 12-10 every game. It will be awesome.

Always had a gut feeling we'd rival Stretford once again. This is just the start!

nice that the North West area can have the former 'worlds biggest club' as well as the one that's about to erase them from memory.
You could not make it up!:D

PhilD123 added 1 Minutes and 6 Seconds later...

That's even worse lol
Won't be his proper song:p, just one for tonight.:D I'm sure Boylies working on a proper song to get going at anfailed in a couple of weeks.

The way things are going, if you don't get yourself a Sugar Daddy, you're going to be left behind. All these mediocre teams becoming great because they've now got loads'a money don't seem to realise what will likely happen if we, who are already great, come into the same sort of finances.

As I said, Sugar Daddies will ruin football. But that's the way things are going, so I'd much rather see us follow suit, rather than get left behind.

Can you believe it?? Man bloody City now one of the richest, if not the richest, in the world! The whole world's gone mad!!

Its true but its happening everywhere. I dont think much will happen even if you come into the same sort of finances. End of the day it depends on which owner can spend the most. United have spent 30+m on a Bulgarian. 30m on an Argentine, so its not like you 'dont' spend at all.

I'm imagining the conversation between Robinho and his agent:

R: You didn't get me Chelsea. No shopping on the King's Road? No Scholari? Manchester, you say. Ah well, at least I will get to play alongside Ronaldo and Rooney.
A: Err, something I've been meaning to tell you about that...

I think the Robinho transfer to City proves that Chelsea aren't a big club. The only reason people have been joining Chelsea is because of the money, and now that an even richer power is in town, they're all jumping ship. Robinho claimed yesterday that he was desperate to join Chelsea, yet, as soon as he hears about the deal from Man City he bites their hands off.

You can tell Moyes got desperate and just bought anyone, £15million for some Belgian fella I've never heard of. I'll bet he'll be shite, and be sold back to Belgium for way under half of the £15million we paid for him.

Also, Abou Diaby(:P) > Roman Abramovich. The new City owner is worth $1 Trillion, which is about £550 Billion, this compares to Abramovich, who's fortune is estimated at around £11 Billion. City are going to be better than Liverpool and Arsenal next year, can't wait to see what players they get in.

Robinho joined Man City because his former club wouldnt send him to a club they will have to play in the Champions League, Robinho may have still wanted to go but it was never going to happen

TBH the rate Man City are improving they will be in the Champions League in no time

Thats true, Real were adamant not to sell Robinho to Chelsea. Also Abu Dhabi Investment is not a one person company and neither can they invest all their money in one football team. Besides Robinho wanted to leave Madrid more than he wanted to join Chelsea, and the only reason he wanted to join Chelsea was because Chelsea were interested and the coach was a Brazilian.

But in the end it was about the salary because at Madrid he was getting peanuts when compared to Raul, Casillas, RVN, Guti, Diarra and recentl Sergio Ramos who signed a new contract.

And at City he does get to play with two more Brazilians, and Elano. At Madrid, there was just Marcelo who is a kid.
