I don't know much about him, but this just about rules out any chance of us resigning Jason Shackell. I'm more worried about replacing Lee Croft, we are in lumber now our bid for Ronaldo was rejected.

80 million Just need to sign someone with goals in them but like I have said should play better now, didn't play very well last year and might start getting the best out of the others now.

In 46 starts he scored 25 goals plus 6 assists in the league. If that's not playing well, then you United fans have ridiclously high requirements for your players. He may not have been 'as' good as the season before, but he was still excellent. He will be missed, no matter who you bring in. You won't find many other players that can play on the wing, provide as many goals as a top class striker, score excellent free-kicks, be superb in the air and provide goals for others in the team. The money may allow United to bring some class talent in, but they won't truely replace Ronaldo. He's the best in the world as far as all-round talents go.

Well how does that work? You won the league and got to the Champions League final. Other than the start of the season United played bloody well. Whether it's Ronaldo or United, I don't agree with you.

We play well in terms of getting the results, but we never really got playing great and had the goals flying in. Last season we were a lot better. Defensively we were great mind but that's not what united are about.

Shame to see him go, but 80 million is a brilliant price. Thought we'd get something like 65 million at that most. We'll get a couple of good players in, in fact I reckon Fergie's probably got something lined up. Not sure about Toure but wouldn't mind the rest mentioned. Interesting to see how Rooney does next season, hopefully he'll improve on again in the way Ronaldo did when Ruud left in 2006.

To me Toure is the best player we could get. He'll fill the void of the defensive midfield that is non nonsense whilst also having a good temper. Plus this would allow Carrick and Anderson to play in more advanced roles where they seem to prosper.

CL final is at the Bernabeau next year, id love nothing more than to win it there against madrid.
