I have my doubts about Glen Johnson. I dont remember him being that good while at Chelsea. So unless he has improved at the speed of light, I would say its a bad buy, especially when you have Arbeloa, or is he leaving?

It don't mean if he has had bad spell at Chelsea he will be a bad player else where mate. he had 2 good seasons at Porsmouth and that is the reason why we and Chelsea went for him, talking about Chelsea well they did not give him much of a chance as they had Ferriera at the time, so Johnson days were numbered. and Arbeloa is fantastic i would love to keep him also but Real have made a bid of 8 million i think so we will see what happens but hope he stays though as he is a great defender.

I didn't believe it when Sky Sports News tried it yesterday, I won't now. :p I was just wondering what Arsenal they were talking about.

why buy a 35 year old! just shows how desperate Arsenal are still cannot believe this that they have signed him.

Heard some rumours saying three clubs are interested in Tevez, Man City and Chelsea ofcourse and the third one is unnamed and many people are saying it to be Everton. Man City want Lescott for 20m and could give Jo to Everton. While Madrid have signed Raul Albiol, a decent signing but he didnt play for much for Spain in the Confederation Cup. And finally Madrid have withdrew their pact with Barca, which means they can sign any player from Barcelona.

Pact is too strong and technical a term to describe what was essentially a verbal understanding between the two clubs. We did sign Saviola from Barca two seasons back, although you could say that was because his contract with them was expiring.
