I'm not sure he'd fit in. Nuri Sahin is the kind of player I can think of. This is with respect to his Individual signing. But, at a price of 7m and kagawa calling Old trafford his 'home' might see him through there.

Kagawa would still need to adapt, as I doubt he would completely fit into the system at United and play the same way he did while at Dortmund.

Not really the type of winger United would need, so possibly United would need to change the formation up a bit to allow for a more attacking creative midfielder, maybe a 4-2-3-1 as opposed to the two deeper midfielders.

He is definitely the sort of player worth changing your system for, miles better than Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick etc. May not work fully, but still he will add a lot to the team even if it dosen't work out, and anything under 25 m is a steal.

And yes, I have become a Kagawa fanboy ever since he hinted he wanted a move to the prem:p.

Sahin would fit in well at most clubs around Europe... Yet he chose Madrid. I suppose he got what was coming to him, though. Still, he was signed so cheap that even with his limited appearances Madrid could sell him on for atleast a few m more.

Really interested to see where Vertonghen and Yanga-M'Biwa go as well. Vertonghen obviously wants to come to Arsenal as Thomas Vermaelen is his best friend, but I personally see him going to Spurs as Gallas and King are getting on and Ryan Nelsen (NZ ftw!) is hardly good enough. Though Newcastle have also been linked to him as it makes sense seeing Coloccini seems or seemed to want to move on.

I hope we get either. With Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen and one of those two we'd be looking at one of if not the best quartet of CBs in Europe. Exactly what we need with our defensive problems, plus Vertonghen can play at LB and CDM, and Yanga M'Biwa can play anywhere along the back line or at CDM.

I don't think there is any better player United could use, other than maybe someone they'll never get like one of the Barca trio or Ozil or something.

Dortmund is a big club, but they can hardly be considered as big as Milan, Inter or Real Madrid etc due to their history. So from a club that is relatively small compared to the giants, he would be the best player, i.e. the best attainable player.

He is the stand out performer in Dortmund's record-breaking set-up, easily. In 41 games in all competitions, he has scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists. Plus he seems to make Dortmund tick.

Amazing player and cost Dortmund just 350 K euros in 2010.

And since we can't throw ?50m around like confetti, (thanks, Gormless Glazers) we need to dig a bit deeper and find the hidden gems.

Lille star Eden Hazard reveals he will wear blue next year - ESPN Soccernet

Both Roberto Mancini and Sir Alex Ferguson have declared their interest in Hazard and travelled to watch him in action in France earlier this year. The Belgium international was also present for the Manchester derby last week and reports suggest he looked at houses in the Alderley Edge area of Cheshire.

Chelsea, who have signed three Belgians in the last year, have also been credited with an interest in the player.

When asked on whether he prefers red or blue - Lille's home kit is red - Hazard told Canal+ that he likes both colours but added:

Eden Hazard said:
It's the blue that I'll be wearing next season. Definitely the blue.

Heard he was spotted during the Manchester Derby, and I'm afraid SAF's United didn't leave him a very good first impression, while his counterpart Blues definitely did.

Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal all wear blue. It could be any. Though I'm sure it won't be Chelsea or Arsenal.

There is no need to say "I want to go to City" in such a way, I'm sure he doesn't care. He just wants to whore himself out as far as possible. If City was his preferred destination, he would've said it IMO.

----------

Oh and Vertonghen is going to Spurs most likely. Great signing, should be a first teamer immediately when King isn't available.

----------

M'Vila is coming to us too most likely, many sources are revealing for 17.7 m (22 m euros) at a wage of 60 K per week. Amazing signing.

One thing I'll never understand is the Arsenal wage structure. Doesn't seem to make sense that a record signing should earn pretty much the same as a Squillaci.

Any website that has the data for player wages? Heard Young had a pretty crazy wage in United as well...

Not that I know of.

Apparently City are having trouble meeting his wage demands. He wants 200 K apparently holy crap. Not worth it, someone earning that much at that age will probably expect 300-400 K when he's 28.

City now considering looking at Belhanda if Hazard deal fails. I doubt whether he would get any playing time if Belhanda does join City.

----------

And Hazard's wage demands are completely crazy.

Koscielny is quality, Mertesacker is average and Vermaelen is the most over-rated defender in the world. Do defenders just need to pop up and score a goal or two and get rated these days? His decision making is terrible and constantly goes forward and leaves Arsenal way too exposed at the back. Sure his runs help sometimes but he has to pick them wisely as Song doesn't cover either and it leaves the defence so open to counter attacks.

Yeah, he didn't pick a good night to check us out - I haven't seen us play that badly in a long, long time. :facepalm

Of course, he could be playing the cryptic game - one of our away kits is indeed blue. ;) However, if what we're hearing about his wage demands is accurate, then he'll go to City or Chelsea as they're the money boys.

I also agree that Vermaelen is somewhat over-rated by Arsenal. Although I do like him a bit, his somewhat good ability is just over-rated.

And also his runs are a slightly important reason why Arsenal leak a high amount of goals.

Hazard to Chelsea would be great, but don't they already have Mata? I guess that would be enough, for I don't know where would he fit in Chelsea. Also with Marin coming, Hazard to Chelsea may just drop.

Looks like Gyan wants to stay in UAE. Greedy player. Hope he never returns to the Premier League.

Yeah I am baffled by the whole Gyan situation. Really don't understand what happened there.
