Have you considered that England itself isn't that attractive to a lot of big players. They get taxed more, the culture is fairly basic, and the weather is crap... Coupled with the fact City offer just as many chances to win trophies and earn big money I think you'll find it's not necessarily the Glazer's who are to blame for Man U not snapping up everyone.
You spend an incredible amount of time blaming a lot of people for Man U not having a monopoly of English football...
I found this quite an interesting read -
Glazers Not to Blame for Manchester United?s Trouble | Premier League blog, soccer news and football shirts from EPL Talk
When United have won trophies in the past, Sir Alex Ferguson and his players garnered all the praise, with no mention of the Glazers. Yet, when the difficulties arise, the owners are tossed to fire, with Ferguson made to look almost like a victim. This double standard should not exist.
What - so the guy who wrote the article reckons that if the Glazers hadn't come along, we wouldn't be winning??? We're winning despite them, not because of them. If you come along and saddle a club with ?500m+ debt, a club that before you showed up was doing very well thank you, that's a bad thing and there is no looking past that.
No, it's not the Glazers fault that we were crap in Europe, neither was it their fault that we imploded tactically at the end of this year's Premiership season - but the club's financial situation is most certainly their fault - there's no denying that. It's got nothing to do with having a monopoly over English football - it's got to do with being in a great financial situation and being put in a bad one.
Still, knowing Sir Alex, he'll construct yet another Utd team that will go on to win many more trophies. Some people might think this season was a disaster for Utd because we didn't win anything, but I'm not one of them - apart from Europe, that was as disastrous as it comes. As I've said repeatedly, when it all comes down to it, we lost the league by two minutes and I'm very confident we'll bounce back with style next season. We don't need to dismantle the squad - just make one or two sensible additions.

Don't trust goal.com. Never ever trust it. Pato loan offer? Lol.
United need to look at the players who under-performed rather than call for the heads of the Glazers!

United
still did not sell Bebe? That's amazing.
I had no idea we've still got Bebe on the books, that is indeed mind-boggling.
Sure, some of our players did underperform, but it was a freakish and out of character tactical implosion that really cost us this year. Still, next season we'll have Vidic back, De Gea will have got his first season under his belt and will be more confident for the whole season and there should be one or two additions. Deadwood like Bebe however should go!
If Utd had won the league, would anyone be going on about Man City underperforming?
