Football Transfers Thread

Where on earth did you hear the top two of those? You posted that yesterday after Man Utd had confirmed they weren't selling Ronaldo :p

And United won't sell Heinze either, he is a key player for us.
That is just what the Spanish papers are saying. I look at AS and Marca for all the rumors - and that's just what they are, rumors.

Christiano Ronaldo admits that he wants to play in Spain (for Barcelona or Madrid), but he also wants to develop further at Manchester United. So we can pretty much assume he's trying to cover up the fact that he wants to leave and not make Fergie too mad ;).

Arsenal have claimed that Cesc is not for sale (perhaps this means that they really do want to sell him ).

Barcelona are expressing interest in Zambrotta.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has reached a "total agreement" with Real Madrid and now the only issue is the transfer price, which is somewhere around 15 million euros.

Sorting his contract out was easy. Many believe he would become one of the highest earners at the club but in reality he has agreed on a bag of oats and a salt lick!

Robert Huth's proposed transfer to 'Boro has fallen through; sorry if this is old news, because i've only just found out about it.

Arsenal are closing in for Saviola a decision will be made in a weeks time and also Curtis Davies for ?8 mil

Hmmm,Tottenham have cut some great deals...And i just can't fathom players who go to a club knowing they aren't going to get a game(Example:Cheatski)!West Ham have also made good headway. It's all leading up to an exciting season!

Small correction to Sid's post. Hamann joind Man City not Bolton. He did sign some sort of contract at Bolton but told the club he made a mistake less than a week later.

Seems like Van Nistelrooy might be heading for Madrid according to a local news.It was expected that he would be leaving ManU,but will he get a first team regular spot in Madrid?

Plenty of rumours about the Italian players as well whose clubs have been relegated.

Liverpool looking for Juve Strikers
