Football Transfers Thread

Seems like United has decided to create more strong bench than on field play. With Mata, Kagawa.... now this guy. :facepalm

Mata started the game yesterday and played most of it...

Edit: I know very little about football outside of England - would Kroos be a good player for Utd; would he solve our midfield problem (the one that was supposed to have been solved by Felliani?)

Also, it looks like Rooney's going to sign a new contract, which would be a massive boost; he was excellent yesterday again.

Ye he would be a top, he is a very good box-to-box mid-fielder.

Sounds like it could happen. It's good to see Moyes being so aggressive in this window - the team did need it after all.

Much better that than he just didn't accept there was a problem, stick with the squad he had and finished 7th or 8th.

I'm hearing rumours that we are going to sign Michael Ciani from Lazio. I know literally nothing about him.

Well, quite so - that would be career suicide for him, at least as far as Man Utd is concerned. Now, if we do get Kroos I can see us getting top four; even without him we might manage it. :)

Haven't seen him play lately but I was disappointed he left when he did. Seems likely to be solid signing for you.

Only one and a bit days to go until the window slams shut - can Moyes get it done in time? Tomorrow's going to be fun...

Sounds like the guy definitely wants out if he stropped off after being subbed.
