Football Transfers Thread

Now that's what I call taking advantage.

Liverpool needs to get a world class striker before Gerrard retires. Him in the side is a huge boost. Strikers know they'd be fed well.
This could've been a trophy-challenging season for us had Luiz Suarez not left, but looks like we're looking at another top-4-challenging season. Talks of Falcao and Cavani emerging. I don't follow the transfer rumours, so can't really rate them on the ridiculousness-meter, but if we can get just 1 big (proven) name, it would be a great great boost to the side. Obviously we're lacking goals, we've got enough creativity in midfield for now.. only if there were a couple of people upfront to take advantage of it.

Fraser Forster is finally in a major league, time to show who deserves the first team goal keeper for England. I just hope he has the season of his life, so that we can buy him next season.

Undisclosed, but reported to be £32m and with the sale of Rodwell that keeps us under the £49m net spend cap set for this transfer window part of the FFP sanctions.
