Why would you want to compare with previous seasons?

Because thats what united had to base their squad on at the start of the season and therefore they didn't expect it,the same as every other club

Nothing compared to what some of the other teams faced. losing two of your top goalkeepers in one game and then being without your captain and main defender. Now thats what you call an injury crisis. Not to mention not having both your wingers for majority of the season.

couldnt you just buy off the league, you got all the money in the world so i think you should have enough for decent cover in every position.

With someone like Eto'o we can grab the points that Man Utd. got last year, ones they didn't deserve over the game but had the finishing the other team didn't have.

We also seem interested in Simao and Malouda, who would be great signings.

Come On!!!! Championes! cant see chelsea stopping us with the afro nations cup on this season, maybe liverpool may be our only challengers. a new striker wouldnt go down badly but i must admit i wouldnt be too unhappy if we didnt get one
