okay, I thought everyone wanted Anderson to play for variety, as you would have Scholes, who is solid, and Anderson who is skillful, not 2 solid central midfielders, but whatever floats your boat i suppose...

Andersen plays off a striker. He's not a defensive midfielder and neither is Nani. So Carrick will be left to compete with Scholes, Hargreaves for two places.

Scholes and Hargreaves every time, although Scholes is knocking on a bit so he will miss out a couple of matches for fitness, same with Giggs.

It isn't a silly assumption though.
I can safely say without having even watched one game in that league that it is nowhere near the standard of the Premiership.

So? How do you know he isn't near Premiership standard?

It is silly because you cant say he might not be Premiership standard without actually seeing him play.

I think Rooney and Tevez will work quite well, as Tevez is more of an out & out goalscorer than Rooney.

Wow, im amazed at Manu's strength this next season, with Rooney and Tevez up front, and the likes of Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson and Ronaldo in midfield, and giggs scholes etc! Not so sure on the defence, but havent really seen it recently...are there any more expected transfers to United??? Maybe a defender, or a goalie to replace Van Der Sar as hes getting older now??
