Pepe was at one time wanted by Jose Mourinho and besides he has been crucial for the Porto defence. Yes no one really knows much about him, but hey the same can be said about Nani, Anderson, Eduardo, etc.

I wasn't criticising him, i was just making a judgement purely on what i would imagine a player like Pepe to have. I'd seen a bit of Nani and Anderson playing although its the attackers who get all the attention, I asked a few people i know in portugal about him and they seem to rate him though. Found his wiki:

Yeah, Quaresma is quality, but I rate benayoun highly, that could turn out to be a good signing. Bellamy is not good for West Ham imo, just as their team-spirit would have been getting better with Reo-Coker going, and the yob that is Bellamy arrives.

Also, hope the rumors that Martins will be going are untrue, that's the last thing we need. I hope he is one of the first men on the team sheet for Allardyce, but I have a feeling that Owen is, who I would reject to the subs bench and play the target man Viduka and the lightening pace of Martins with him.

I think the intention would be to use Quaresma on the right whereas Babel would be used on the left. Just because Benayoun and Babel look set to be confirmed, it doesnt mean that Quaresma is no longer a possibility.

we are in serious trouble although i agree henry SHOULD have gone due to big hype and not that much on field,
not critisising him great player i love him BUT
if we had sold him for what he was worth
25 million last season, we could buy 4-5 young players to suit wengers style of play currently he has little money and we need a very good striker

Walcott will be firing all cylinders and WHEN we keep cesc he will be awesome
hopefully flamini will go and we can buy someone like ETO
