Football Transfers Thread

Well, when I watched MOTD, in both the United v Arsenal games, United were the stronger team and had more chances.

I disagree with saying that whoever scores the most goals deserves to win as I said before, but for example, if the team you support has the upper hand in a game and it dictating the play then the opposition score a lucky goal in the 90th minute, I am certain that you will think that it is not deserved.
I agree with the second one especially and that we were the better side at the New library. They probably had the better of it at Old Trafford but a draw would have been fair.

Yep, I'm getting annoyed about West Ham's attitude over Tevez, can't stand them already and the fact that they are just being awkward over this really annoys me. They need to face the fact that he isn't going to be a West Ham player next season and get over the fact that they don't own him.

Another thing, if this was Liverpool trying to sign Tevez, the Premier League would have no problem with it. They had no problem with Mascherano moving. The FA runs the Premier League and the FA's Chief Executive is a scouser, it really isn't a suprise.

I want to go back on to the Sheff Utd/West Ham debate. I know its the wrong thread but we've slipped onto other matters so what the hell, although I feel Sheff Utd should have given up after their last appeal, I think it's a disgrace that all West Ham get for fielding an ineligible player is a 5.5 million fine. Its a slap on the wrist for someone like Magnusson to be honest and their spending this summer has shown that they've not been hurt by it, we need to send em down next year! Looking forward to giving them a real good thrashing.

They might have him under contract though,. they should do. Which would actually mean you were tapping up Tevez through his agent, so you could get into a lot of trouble about this.

Sheff Utd are becoming pathetic. They need to accept the fact that they aren't good enough to be in the Premiership. That's why they were relegated.

True but i'd still like to see West Ham relegated just to see the look on all those cockney wideboys' faces. No offense to cockneys, I just hate West Ham fans with a passion. Or should I say West Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam fans.

West Aaaaaaaaaam, Guv.

Hate them or not, one enjoys talking like them occasionally.

I just feel that if 'Boro were docked three points for breaking the rules, why did West Ham get away with a fine? The FA need to be more consistent (where've I heard that before ;) )?

That's complete BS! We outplayed you completely in the first game and deserved the win. Get over it. My god, what a sore loser.

.

Fair enough, I agree that you deserved the win. The fact remains however, that if Ronaldo wasn't playing his tricks in his own half, the goal wouldn't've happened. Still, I reckon we can let the lad off on that one!

That's why Sheff Utd are so pissed. Inconsistency. Still, I hate Sheff Utd so I hope they rot in the Championship

You have to laugh though, don't you? When they got Tevez and Mascherano, it was all 'We're on the way up, now!' and 'Europe at least, mate'! In the end, they just avoided relegation, thanks to an inconsistent FA.

I think we'll get Tevez in the end and he'll be awesome!

I do agree that it's about time they let it drop. That's life, guys! It ain't always fair!!

It wasn't that much of a showboat. He just held onto it too long. still, I won't complain ;)

What I don't get is the agent is saying that all the parties are in agreement, including West Ham! I've got to say though that I don't trust this agent as far as I could throw him, he sounds like a well dodgy bloke!

How do you think Nani will do at OT?

It's just not right to have Teves at a club like West Ham.

I have not seen much of Nani at all

It just doesn't fit, does it? He belongs at a top team, if not us, then a Real Madrid or AC Milan.

Well are we getting left behind in the Transfer market,or are we making some good deals by signing Sagna and co. for less wages while selling Ljunberg and Thierry who would cost us a **** load over the next few years. What do Arsenal need in terms of players to compliment our squad?Martins?Or a left winger?I'm a little torn, personally i think Martins would do very well here, but that would push Van P out to the wing and Bendtner down the pecking order...Then again, considering we let Babel go,who would we go for on the left wing?

Thing is. If Mr. Wenger really believes in this young squad, he won't feel the need to buy proven players. What is important is whether he wants to stick around as these youngsters progress and improve.

Still, a few big name signings would signal intent that we want to compete with Chelsea and Man Utd.
