Football Transfers Thread

Yeah i heard on skysports news this morning that West Ham are trying to sign Santa Cruz from Bayern Munich, so if that deal happens then west ham might aswell say goodbye to Tevez.

I tell you what though, I'm a touch wary about Utd buying a player that this agent geezer will still officially own. Sort it out, FA! Tell this idiot to butt out!

Boy, they're acting childish! They should be thankful they're still in the League, because if the FA had showed some consistency, then West Ham would now be preparing for Championship football and Tevez would use a get out clause that he undoubtedly has.

It'll be a laugh if he comes to Utd and sticks a hat-trick past his old club!

Well if WHU are blocking his medical he simply won't be able to go to Man U! If he's owned by someone else, that would make the Transfer illegal, right? And anyway, that would lift the price...I think that if WHU are completely and utterly against giving Man U Tevez then they should just sell him overseas.

Everyone seems to be confident that he will make the move eventually. This includes Tevez himself, his agent Kia Joorabchian, Manchester United as well as West Ham United.

The only reason why this is taking so much time is because of the complications in the transfer of registration and whether it is being done solely by West Ham or is there an external involvement.

Its just a matter of time. I think in a way its good because United seem to be stuck on this transfer and arent looking at any other replacements or backups.

West Ham are being childish at the moment. I believe Tevez will join us in the end.

They aren't being childish. They're trying to hold onto a brilliant player. They hold his registration, they own him, not Jorbiachan. Jorbianchan can only convince Tevez he wants to move. West Ham actually are the ones who have the final say on it.

I can understand that, but if you try to hold onto a player who wants to leave, it can only cause unrest in the dressing room. Sir Alex had that problem years ago with Kanchelskis. He wanted to keep him, but Andrei wanted to go, so there was nothing for it.

Now that Harewood has gone to Villa like Reo Coker West Ham need to keep some quality strikers like, Tevez, Ashton and Zamora. Man utd have got all the best strikers in the world don't be greedy and let us enjoy a quality striker

Well Zamora is hardly what i'd call 'qaulity' and i don't think Ashton could be called that either.Anyway, looks like Everton could be pulling off some serious moves in the transfer market...Pienaar and Vogels!Pretty good going.

Pienaar and Vogel are both very average. They wouldn't add much quality to Everton. Poor signings really.

Like MasterBlaster said Tevez wants to go to Man Utd. In the end if West Ham force him to stay he will not be happy and not play to his full potential, let him go make some money and buy someone else.

Simply if they force him to stay he wont play. You cant make a player play if he doesnt want to. Sorry sachin but i disagree with you Ashton can be classed as quality he is one of the few decent english strikers left these days.
