Football Transfers Thread

I don't think Torres will cut it in the prem, La Liga suits him as an attacking player who likes the ball at his feet, and I just don't think the prem is right for him, however, if he's that good he will be like Ronaldo and do very well.
But imo he won't

I agree with you Phill, but then why would Jorbiachan lie, because West Ham could sue him and take everything he owns.

West Ham aren't massive. Real Madrid are massive. Don't talk balls. West Ham are a moderate sized club.

Hehe...Real Madrid arent just massive....but the biggest!

Fiorentina have signed former Italian striker Christian Vieri for 1.5 million euros on a one year deal. The Viola lost two strikers in the summer, with Luca Toni moving to Bayern and Reginaldo joining Parma.

Personally I think Prandelli should start Mutu and Pazzini and use Vieri as support. Bojinov and Lupoli are also there although the former looks certain to leave the club as well. There a few new faces from the excellent youth team.

I just can't believe that you think that West Ham are a small club they are massive. Like Everton are....

Over 50 years of consecutive top flight football compared to West Ham's 2. We may not be the biggest, but we are a far sight bigger than your lot.

Very true, so when on earth will Manu be signing Tevez, is this gonna go on for ever and eventually end up in court?

It's getting boring, isn't it? FIFA will meet with the FA on Monday to try to sort it out. Sir Alex is confident.

I agrre that it's getting terribly boring,i'd also add that it's not helping the image of both clubs, when it seems to be in the open that Jia is the Real owner of Tevez...What a state for WHU to be in...Anyway,a good loan deal by Everton for Pienaar.

I agree about Henry, Torres and Malouda but not so sure about Saviola and Eduardo. I am a Madrid fan and I too have high expectations of Saviola, but he does have a lot to prove. Nevertheless, he did come a free transfer, so if he does fail, I wont feel to bad will I?

And as far as improving your squad is concerned, no one has done it better than Bayern. They have made the best signings and have a deadly lineup for next season. I'm glad they wont be playing in the Champions League atleast for one year.

I agree with you but I think he wasnt given the chance he should have been in Barca and nows the time to prove himself when RVN is injured and MADrid really need a good attacking forward who can get them some imp. goals.(like RVN last season) ;)

So, Liverpool want Heinze. Ok, fair enough, give us Riise and wel'll give you Heinze. Deal? No? I didn't think so, get lost then!

i think its fair..or another option: TAKE UR BROKE ASS BACK HOME!
:crying >> OOOO DONT CRY..BENITEZ=P..MAMA WILL GET U AN ICECREAM.>!

I must say I was quite surprised that Rafa wants Heinze, but I trust he knows what he's doing. It seems Liverpool's bid has met a release fee in his contract too so I guess this could be another transfer settled by lawyers.

In other news Ljungberg has moved to West Ham in a deal that could be worth as much as £3M

Funny, I read that there was in fact no release fee, that the amount only met the asking price in a letter to Heize's agent. Man Utd are also looking at the possibility of Liverpool having illegally contacted Heize
