Football Transfers Thread

Yes Freddie is a great signing for west ham and Bellamy too. There is even talk of Nicholas Anelka coming to us aswell cos he doesn't get along with Sammy Lee.

Is there anyone Anelka does get on with?

I came back from India to read some excellent news about Cardiff City's summer signings, including Robbie Fowler and Trevor Sinclair. The real question is, can the new strike force replicate the ability of Chopra who moved to Sunderland, or will it fail. I think the Cardiff squad is much stronger this year and has its best chance of pushing for a play-off/promotion place in a long time.

Apparently Real Madrid's 8.5 million pound bid for Royston Drenthe has been accepted. Also we seem to be making another attempt at landing Kaka and this time with an offer of 60million pounds.

Robbie Fowler shouldn't too badly, he scored for Liverpool in his second spell when he played I think he scored 8 in 11 starts last season. He's also now in a lower league.

Will be interesting to see how Robbie fairs, think he'll do ok though. We still need a decent keeper, why Jones had to get rid of Alexander I'll never know.

Hope Sinclair doesn't turn into another Kevin Campbell. A friend of mine lives in the same apartment block that Cardiff City rents out for players and it's fair to say that Campbell (along with Willo Flood) may have had his mind on things other than football.

Currently have Rae or MacLean (not sure which, might even be another summer signing) living there and so far he seems to be giving off positive vibes so should be good.

Looks like we'll be sending Reyes off to Athletic for something like 6-7 million pounds...would have hoped for more, but thats not to bad.Anything to get rid of the weed.

I'm glad for Reyes. Atletico have an awesome team this season despite losing Torres. I'd prefer him to stay with us but looks unlikely now that the Robben issue has picked up once again.

Looks like the Tevez situation might be sorted out soon, West Ham have tabled some sort of proposal and the deal could go through in the next 48 hours.

Good, Im sick of this little saga. I dont want this to turn out like what happened with Owen Hargreaves.

Rossi has gone to Villareal apparently, thats a fantastic deal for them. He's a quality player who deserved a chance at united and as much as i wanted to keep him its not fair for a player of his class to be playing in the reserves every week or out on loan when he can be showing how good he is. Always thought he was too short to be a striker though

Yes with those 2 i think they are gearing up for a great season let's hope they don't loose it like last year"!

Looks as if Beattie's being shipped off to the Blades. Shame, i'm gonna miss that useless, lovable, big-breasted fat lump of a centre forward. Still a quality player, just never kicked off at Everton. We only ever saw glimpses. Our canteen staff had to cope with several food shortages too.
