Football Transfers Thread

Barcelona have made another brilliant signing in Gabriel Milito. Despite the high fee (around 15.3 million pounds), he will provide the much needed solidity in the Barca defence.

Last season, apart from Real Madrid's awesome comeback, Barca were also beaten due to some poor defending.

Real Madrid have also made an extremely worthless addition to the squad with Jerzy Dudek on a free transfer. But then you dont really have too many choices when you are selecting you number three goalkeeper, do you?

Hes expected to do his medical on Wednesday, and press conference and show off his shirt, or w.e the name for it is on Thursday...38m i believe

For Man utd to get Carlos Tevez they will probaly have to go to court. I don't know why man u want tevez anyway haven't they got good enough strikers anyway.

I really don't think it'll go that far. West Ham have said on Sky Sports News that they're resigned to losing him. I think this whole 'agent' thing is a load of BS though. The deal should be done between Man Utd & West Ham, with the agent helping out, not dominating proceedings! Utd and Hammers agree a fee, Tevez agrees terms, passes his medical and that's that! Mr Gill's right when he says it's become over complicated!

Just think of all the players you could buy with that money, instead of trying to keep a player who is only going to become more stroppy with the club as time goes on.

It depends what West Ham want really...if they want one world class player...or several very good players...its all a choice of theres and i just hope this disgrace goes away asap...i still don't fully understand whats gone on. All i know is West Ham don't own Tevez and some randomer does?

He's overpriced anyway. No-one's worth 40 mil

Wenger has opened contract talks! :happy

Drogba could leave Chelskov 'for the right price'

Ha! if Drogba leaves, they can really forget it! I love what you've called 'em there! Chelskov, I like it! Makes a change from Chelski. How about 'Chelskovski??' :D

Re Tevez: One thing you'll never see is me wasting (yes wasting) £35 or £40 on a sodding Argentina shirt, like some of those idiots at West Ham! What, just because the guy plays for you, you're suddenly going to start supporting a bunch of cheating, fouling gits whose latest great hope (Messi) has also done a 'Hand of God')? I didn't agree with all the Utd fans chanting 'Argentina, Argentina', for Heinze either! Still, at least they haven't won anything for a while now, that will annoy a country like that, especially as Brazil are doing so well!

Well done, Brazil for giving them a good flogging!

Yeah i heard on skysports news this morning that West Ham are trying to sign Santa Cruz from Bayern Munich, so if that deal happens then west ham might aswell say goodbye to Tevez.
