FTP: From the Pavilion general chat

A bit behind the RRR but still should be favourites to win this, with no wickets down.

End of over 16 (9 runs) - Hedger's Team(102-0). 168 runs required from 24 overs. RR 6.38 RRR 7.00
R. Mol 66 (59b) , N. Bleeker 36 (37b) , A. Vijayashree 4-0-32-0

Definately not the finish I wanted.

Definitely not the start I wanted but may be the finish I am wanting... :D

End of over 20 (3 runs) - Hedger's Team(118-0). 152 runs required from 20 overs. RR 5.90 RRR 7.60
R. Mol 78 (69b) , N. Bleeker 40 (51b) , A. Pushkala 6-0-44-0

End of over 20 (8 runs) - Indian Warriors(127-2) RR 6.35
F. Watts 13 (8b) , K. Sivasubramaniam 21 (18b) , A. Mishra 5-0-29-0

Going good till now, not like earlier matches b/w me and AP where my batsmen used to fail badly, I think I can win it. And O'Keeffe got out for 54, sucks.

Century for Mol and we're starting to up the run rate.

End of over 26 (8 runs) - Hedger's Team(166-0). 104 runs required from 14 overs. RR 6.38 RRR 7.43
R. Mol 103 (88b) , N. Bleeker 61 (68b) , D. Vivatma 5-0-34-0

End of over 28 (7 runs) - Hedger's Team(179-1). 91 runs required from 12 overs. RR 6.39 RRR 7.58
N. Bleeker 68 (75b) , M. Young 1 (2b) , D. Vivatma 6-0-41-0

27.1 1 W Vivatma to Mol : [runout] Caught ball-watching, slow to respond to his partner's call, run out by a metre. Dreadful running by Mol.
R. Mol run out (A. Vijayashree) 108 (91b 7x4 3x6) SR:118.68

I should win from here. Bleeker and Omara starting to accelerate and dropped the RRR from 8 rpo with 8 overs remaining to 5.75 with 4 overs remaining.

End of over 36 (12 runs) - Hedger's Team(247-2). 23 runs required from 4 overs. RR 6.86 RRR 5.75
N. Bleeker 102 (94b) , V. Omara 21 (16b) , A. Manjrekar 6-1-35-0

----------

Geez, that was a late scare. 4 wickets in the space of 3 overs but Bollinger and Crane did enough to get us over the line.

End of over 40 (3 runs) - Hedger's Team(270-6) RR 6.75
F. Bollinger 8 (5b) , C. Crane 7 (7b) , A. Manjrekar 7.3-1-46-1

Didn't know my youth team was that much better :p I must be good enough to compete in Div 1 youth. Which is pretty much true as I'm 10th in the country and fast improving.

A great comeback in my second youth friendly in as many weeks against bcvs. Was down and out 5-6 overs earlier, since then the wickets have been coming. Dry wicket btw.

End of over 34 (11 runs) - The Alliance(210-6) RR 6.18
O. Fleming 2 (3b) , W. Freeman 114 (103b) , J. Clarke 5-1-21-0

You'll win this. :(

End of over 15 (8 runs) - Liverpool Lightnings(77-1). 193 runs required from 25 overs. RR 5.13 RRR 7.72
T. Sawu 17 (13b) , W. Wambugu 32 (47b) , D. Burton 4-0-32-1

God help Wambugu!

----------

18.4 . Timmermans to Sawu : [great fielding] Driven superbly by Sawu but Burton is very quick to stop the ball, the batsmen expected a boundary and miss their chance of a run.
18.3 . Timmermans to Sawu : Faster, flatter delivery from Timmermans pins Sawu to his crease. Brown is croaking encouragingly to his bowler, he likes the variations.
18.2 . Timmermans to Sawu : That's gone through Sawu like baked beans through a fruit bat. Brown looks at the stumps wondering how it could possibly have missed.
18.1 . Timmermans to Sawu : Sawu goes fishing for that, but he wasn't able to tackle it. I'll stop carping on.

End of over 18 (maiden) - Liverpool Lightnings(93-1). 177 runs required from 22 overs. RR 5.17 RRR 8.05
W. Wambugu 41 (58b) , T. Sawu 22 (20b) , V. Davies 1-1-0-0

17.6 . Davies to Wambugu : Struck on the pads, Davies pleads, then shouts, then bellows, but the umpire remains stonefaced. Looked to be going down leg, but replays show otherwise.
17.5 . Davies to Wambugu : Loud shout for lbw. Davies pitches the ball on a good length outside off stump. Wambugu moves his front foot outside the line of off stump and offers no shot. He gets hit on the front pad but the umpire's finger remains down, and rightly so. Replays show that the ball wasn't coming back enough to hit the stumps. Good decision.
17.4 . Davies to Wambugu : Good flight from Davies. Wambugu gets forward and smothers the bounce.
17.3 . Davies to Wambugu : That clipped the top of the pad on it's way to the keeper. A half hearted appeal is turned down by the umpire.
17.2 . Davies to Wambugu : [great fielding] Wambugu times it well but Cottrell is alert and manages to stop any chance of a run.
17.1 . Davies to Wambugu : Late cut, straight to Cottrell at short third man. No run.
End of over 17 (4 runs) - Liverpool Lightnings(93-1). 177 runs required from 23 overs. RR 5.47 RRR 7.70
T. Sawu 22 (20b) , W. Wambugu 41 (52b) , M. Timmermans 1-0-4-0

16.6 . Timmermans to Sawu : Patted gently out towards Cottrell at mid off for a dot ball.
16.5 . Timmermans to Sawu : Faster, flatter delivery from Timmermans pins Sawu to his crease. Brown is croaking encouragingly to his bowler, he likes the variations.
16.4 . Timmermans to Sawu : No run, shortish and just outside off, gets a bit of bounce which seems to have surprised Sawu a bit.
16.3 . Timmermans to Sawu : You will rarely see a ball as good as that. The bad news for Timmermans is that Sawu lacks the skill to get an edge on it.

14 balls without a run! :facepalm

Great partnership. Really needed this for this massive chase...

@hedger : I didn't know that your team is far better than mine. Congrats for the great win. 100k rating in youths is enough to celebrate...

As expected, lost by 26 runs! Wambugu got out for 98 off 104 balls, after which occurred a massive collapse that saw us lose 5 wickets in the space of 3 overs.

Awesome inning by Kris. 150 up for him. Lets hope he finishes in style
