Saurashtra Lions finished their Season 10 with good performance. Youth team promoted to top group of India. Saurashtra Lions now have to play against Top Youth Teams of India. So Saurashtra Lions made some new entries of youths. One of them is Divyendu Vattikota, the son of Koragappa. He is from Tamilnadu. He has good talent and playing good attacking shots at the start of Innings.

Saurashtra Lions recruited him as a specialist Opening Batsman. He has played two Youth matches of the start of Season 11 for Saurashtra Lions. But now performed well. He just managed to score 7 runs in two innings with best of 5 at strike-rate of 41.18. However teams overall performance was bad against giant teams. Looking forward.

Now I am keeping my eyes of his performance and help him to achieve higher post. So stay here for the journey of a cricketer.

PlanetCricket FTP Championship (Season 11)​

From 16th Sep, PCL will be starting. Saurashtra Lions are the champion of last Championship. They want to carry on their title. Saurashtra Lions have announced 16-men squad for the Championship. Shakti Makwana will lead the team. He is captain of the senior team since 3rd season after Saurav left the club.

Gautam Gambhir has been dropped down the batting order to strengthen batting but Sehwag's new opening partner, Michael Sutherland, is struggling. If Sutherland has to sit out side, Sangakkara or new player, Divyendu Vattikota can open with Sehwag.

Rangy Cunningham is included as second spinner and Andrew Dugan as back-up wicketkeeper. Owen Casey, who has splendid Youth career, will be looking for some chances to show his abilities.

I'd say it'd be pretty even. Most of his youth players are probably around capable or reliable so it would be a good match.
