Ok, so I'm now on holidays for a little bit so I'd like to buy a new game that has a nice story mode and also really good online. So can you guys help me out a bit. I already have GTAIV but I'd like a game similar to that or a modern shooter game.

I think you mean FarCry 2. 
But yeah, FC2 is quality game. Bit long winded though. I'd try Saints Row 2 out as well if you want something like GTA4. It's far more enjoyable.

on ps3 saints row 2 is quality, if you want a good story and online then killzone 2 is a safe bet. Also Batman Arkham Asylum is supposed to have a gripping story line but no online.
Next game i'll buy is Fifa 10 (PS3) :happy demo is out thursday as well

Saints Row is very similar to GTA IV, so it's definitely one you might wanna get..

Well I ended up getting far cry 2. Pretty decent so far. So now with this and the AC09 patch soon to be released, I'm gonna be quite busy
The only thing I didn't seem to find repetitive with Far Cry 2 (Especially after killing everyone) was the scenery, great innit'?
