Gameplay Videos

No, I mean the seam is upright. You bowl a cuttter by dragging your fingers down one side of the ball so the seam revolves laterally.
Yeah I know that, but that isn't how the cutters look in the game unfortunately.

Really? I've seen some lateral revs on pace bowling with the red + white and assumed they were cutters.

Every time I've looked at a cutter in the interactive replay they have behaved like in my two last vids here without lateral revs.

Here is that funny dismissal :D

I wonder what the hell the scrambled deliveries are, then.

The swing seems to work visually. The white half of the ball seems to be the shiny side.

Although I haven't checked to see if it reverses correctly. Mainly because I don't usually bat that long.

Perhaps it's the cross seam delivery? You would definitely see the colours on that one quickly alternating through the air.

Some noticeable seam movement here which I haven't seen too much of, although it was with a 78 over old ball... Bonus catch behind at the end just because.

Couple of great wickets there. The ball looked very shiny for 78 overs old though, I thought it would deteriorate as the game progressed. I'm sure this was one of the first videos we were shown on PC??

The first one wasn't a wicket, he played and missed but I noticed the movement and thought I'd take a look at the replay :).

The ball did definitely look worn down and less shiny close-up at that point, although yeah you can still see the glare off the ball in that vid.

Don't know why I typed that, the first missed the bat by a mile!

As much as I'm not a fan of the trail, it does give you a good indication of how much the ball moves in the air and off the pitch.

Here is a wicket I got which I enjoyed. It was a total fluke as I did not know what I did:

Wish this happened more in the game as it is spectacular and shows how amazing this game can be. I love how the ball starts rotating after hitting the pitch.

Had the AI run itself out in a dumb fashion in career mode just now;

It was funny, but your player must have been more tensed in throwing to keeper than removing the bowler end stumps. :p

Haha I was taken by surprise at what was going on, as I have never run the AI out before or seen them attempt anything like this! The camera turned round to show the guy at the strikers end already about half way down and might have made it in if he dived, whereas at the bowlers end he had just set off and was 100% going to be out.

I stand by my decision :p.
