Which do you prefer?

The potential of Cell hasn't been tapped yet. And when we have games that look beautiful on PS3 and the price is half of what its today, I might buy it afterall. Certainly not now.
Absolutely correct. Just like the way Directx 10 will take time to settle, the same way the cell broadband will have to be optimsed. The programmer will have to make efficient use of the SPE's.

Console for me....beats PC anyday

I have discovered that some objects look better in the 360 and some in PS3

Characters - Xbox 360
Buildings - PS3
Roads - PS3
Terrain - Xbox 360

Now what.

Some of you are just saying which is better, which is boring to read.
Extend your replys and justify your opinions! :) Makes it much more interesting.

omkarjere, I would say that it depends on the game you are playing, not the console on what looks better in games.

I know what are you trying to say but I have compared same games for both the consoles and then I have come to a result that some objects look better in 360 and some in PS3.

The only reason I touch a console is far too many games don't get released on PC (when they'd be a million miles better if they were!!)

I don't buy PC games as, currently, I don't have my own PC as my laptop is on the fritz, I can't trust the home PC to play the games properly and there isn't enough disk space

I personallly prefer PC gaming. Hook up a 360 controller to the PC and you can play drivers like Test Drive Unlimited much better. However, the keyboard and mouse are the perfect combo for FPS games.

Consoles to me are to limited. The graphics are never going to get any better on that console, and with a PC it can be constantly updated.

I have a pretty high spec PC, which has a Direct X 10 compatible card on the way. OK, this will maybe only make it look prettier, but doesnt that surely enhance the experience?

Many argue gameplay is better on consoles becuase of the "exclusive" games. But with free multiplayer on many games on PC, and not having to pay for stuff like Xbox Live, means that the experience is much wider.

Games like Counter Strike and the Battlefield series really come alive on the PC. Obviously the drawback is hardware, but my PC cost less than a PS3, and out performs it in every department.

Wow you are very lucky to have a great system.

I work hard, and so I have the finances.

Plus I get most my stuff from smaller businesses that charge much less than say, PC World.

I prefer Games Consoles for a couple of reasons. Firstly i like to lay in bed and play games with a controller in hand and that isnt possible with my pc, due to the position of it in my room and the fact that i'd have to get out of bed to set it all up anyway. Secondly, i like that you can have exactly the same console for years on end, but with a PC you have to upgrade at least every 2 years in order to be able to play the high end new games. I still play PC games, games such as cricket games, as i enjoy the patches made by the community but overall i prefer console gaming.
