General Cricket Discussion

In the 3 Tests going on right now, Bangladesh is the first Asian team to lose at home. Can India and Pakistan do the same and make it a trifecta? :p

The way both those matches are going, it seems very plausible.

I was having a think about what a British and Irish Lions Test team might look like, assuming that such a team had to represent all of the home nations:

Probably not the best eleven I could have thrown together but it'll do. I decided to pick two Irish players seeing that they're a Test nation, but I wasn't exactly sure how to pick players of a kind that England don't have. I guess the other option would be Dockrell or someone as a spinner and then have a seamer in who's actually quick

I have a very simple question, which is probably not-so-simple; why are there hardly any specialist fast-bowling captains in Cricket?

Is it because the two jobs are too daunting to juggle at the same time, or what?

T20 leagues are called the circus of cricket, but the actual circus is the IPL auction.
By the way, does anyone miss the old auctioneer? :p

The captain has to decide who bowls, so a bowling captain might bowl himself too much, instead of deciding "neutrally".

This is one funny video. (At least the background track makes it).

The throw at 1:51. :D

P.S - Not an attempt to troll just enjoy it if you want to have a good laugh. Its Hilarious.

Sri Lanka Cricket's 2 videos of the last 2 overs of the Nidahas Trophy final in 2018 have a combined 300 million views
