General Cricket Discussion

LOL. The idea is solid but the name is super politically charged.

Better to have something similar to the Maindad - Gavaskar Trophy.

Pity it's not going to happen.

For some reason when a name is already used for another trophy cricket boards treat it like it's expired and can't use again(like Gavaskar is already used in Border-Gavaskar). I've never seen a name used for two series.

I would prefer Afridi-Gambhir cup

The erstwhile 'Sahara' Cup was a good name- although it was due to the sponsor's name, then again- the words 'Sahara' sound good for a trophy- for those who recollect, the Toronto ODIs were sponsored initially by Sahara- pretty good idea it was back then. Honestly, would love to see this happen.

Despite the environment being politically charged, the 2 governments should allow the team to play- well, even if it is once in 4 years.
3 match Test series - neutral venue (Toronto, Dubai, Singapore), 2nd game- Karachi, 3rd game- Kolkata
3 Match ODI series- neutral venue (Toronto, Dubai, Singapore), 2nd game- Lahore, 3rd game- Mumbai

Do you guys prefer to watch cricket alone, or together with other people? If it’s the latter, with whom?

I mostly watch alone, but I think I'd prefer someone to talk to about the game while watching.

I've only ever really watched a lot of cricket with my dad. He's not too interested in anything outside the Pakistan men's team and PSL, but sometimes he watches stuff like WI vs Ned with me when it gets exciting.
