Ghetto Gospel is the best Rap/Hip Hop song of all time. Fact.

Would have been better if Eminem didn't screw Pac's voice up.

Downloaded a leak of one of Green Day's new songs "21st Century Breakdown" It's really good, continues the American Idiot sound.

I really like that new Kanye West song with Kid Cudi, Welcome to heartbreak. Not a huge fan of Kanye as a person because of the "full of my self attitude" but he does have some nice songs.

Also like Cant tell me Nothing by Kanye.

The Decemberists - A Cautionary Song

There's a place your mother goes when everybody else is soundly sleeping;
through the lights of Beacon Street and if you listen you can hear her weeping, she's weeping, 'cause the gentlemen are calling and the snow is softly falling on her petticoats. And she's standing in the harbor and she's waiting for the sailors in the jolly boat. See how they approach.

With dirty hands and trousers torn they grapple 'til she's safe within their keeping. A gag is placed between her lips to keep her sorry tongue from any speaking, or screaming. And they row her out to packets where the sailor's sorry racket calls for maidenhead. And she's scarce above the gunwales when her clothes fall to a bundle and she's laid in bed on the upper deck.

And so she goes from ship to ship, her ankles clasped, her arms are rudely pinioned.'Til at last she's satisfied the lot of the marina's teeming minions, in their opinion.

And they tell her not to say a thing to cousin, kindred, kith or kin or she'll end up dead. And they throw her thirty dollars and return her to the harbor where she goes to bed, and this is how you're fed.

So be kind to your mother, though she may seem an awful bother, and the next time she tries to feed you collard greens, remember what she does when you're asleep

Awesome Lyrics and a great tune to boot.

We all know what a unique voice a Mr. Brandon Flowers has, but the question is: what is your favourite Killers song?

Honestly, mine would be Read My Mind. Really catchy, love the lyrics. They said themselves it was the "best song they have ever written". So that gets my vote.

They may be tortuous, but they're good lyrics, and the song's just got a fantastic sound about it, and it's incredibly catchy. I love the whole Hot Fuss album tbh, it's definitely one of my top 5 albums of all-time. Alongside Jimmy Eat World- Futures, Michael Jackson- Thriller, David Bowie- Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars and Bob Dylan- The Essential. Great albums.

1. Mr Brightside
2. When You Were Young
3. Read My Mind
4. Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
5. Somebody Told Me

Could only stretch to a Top 5 :p.

Hot Fuss is definitely their best album. However, I'd say maybe my favourite would be "When You Were Young" from Sam's Town with "Mr. Brightside" a close second. Then "Read My Mind" then "Smile Like You Mean It". Their new album isn't as good as the previous two, but it's still got a few decent tunes on, Spaceman and Neon Tiger.

Have a listen to The Gaslight Anthem, Great Expectations and Old White Lincoln are really good tunes.

23 > Those tracks. Seriously one of my favourite songs of all-time, love it. The whole album's pretty fantastic though tbh, all 3 JEW albums that I've got are fantastic, but Futures was the first one of theirs I got, and is still my favourite.

I wanted to include Radiohead- Ok Computer or The Bends on the list as well, and on my Facebook I actually picked The Bends in place of Thriller. Radiohead are fantastic.

Mr Brightside is definitely my second favourite Killers song. Here's what I mean by tortuous:

Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his?chest
Now, he takes off her dress
Now, let me go

That verse in particular makes me shiver!

Kid A>Hail to the Thief>Rest.

Radiohead are beyond fantastic, although I can't say I'm a fan of their pop rocky stuff like "Just" or "Bones" from the Bends, I don't think they pull that off well.

If anything I think 'the Bends' put them on the radar. From OK Computer onwards it generated more of a cult status for them, verging well into being the alternative pioneers of modern times.
Personally 'the Bends' is an all time favourite of mine, but there have been a number of good tunes sprung out from the post 'Ok computer' days,
