General Questions Thread

I didnt know FC was in the rules now lol

I think its normal ODs at 60 - 40 [or 70-30] to the home game...

No i meant will the attendances be like friendlys or normal games?

attendance is normal i think, with 60-70% going to home and 40-30% coming to the away...

how much money will we get from cup games? is it more like a friendly or a league fixture. maybe more?

There you go :

Code:
 Gate Receipts
When a match has finished, you will be able to see how many people came to watch. The proceeds from the gates will be paid out depending on what type of match was being played. In a league match, the home team will receive the full amount. [B]In a cup game, the home team receives 2/3 of the amount, the away team getting 1/3[/B], while for both friendly and Play-Off games the receipts are split 50/50.

@ Miller,

I merged your thread, " Help " because, in general, all the newbie questions belong to this thread. There are many experienced people here to help out the newbies. ( help in the sense, not like selection XI, identifying the proper players from given squad as these would be better if we managers do it on our own. )

1) " 7 people have become members of your club. "

It means your club members strength have increased by 7. You need more and more members to get nice gate receipts. It depends on members confidence which increases/decreased depending on the match.

2) " does anyone wanna verse me? "

There is a official challenge thread here...

Just click the above and its right place for arranging friendly matches. :)

And on a extra note, newbies are always suggested to go through the "Rules" from Battrick site and some newbie guides which are stickied in this forum. Those will definitely help you understand battrick better.

The sixth division which you are in was only started this season, in September. It's a large division of several thousand teams that will slowly fill up with people, but you will probably promote into division 5 before that happens.

My hot tip: In this season, try to create a team that has no batsmen weaker than mediocre stamina, mediocre batting and mediocre concentration, or no bowlers weaker than mediocre stamina, mediocre bowling and mediocre consistency. If you have anyone weaker than that, just get rid of them when you can afford to replace them, don't train them. Bots will take stick from any old rabble, so it will be hard to judge what real managers' teams are like. The bigger the stats, the better, so if you have a couple of young players, learn to train them so that they end up with really high skills, rather than training a lot of players to being just good enough.

How long can POPS take?

when u put players in the nets, how long does it take for them to pop up a level?
can it take weeks?

Firstly, i would request you not to start a new thread for each doubt. I have merged your doubt with this thread as it again belongs to one of the newbie questions.

Also, before asking any doubts, you can effectively use the search button available here in our forums. Do use search button in future :)

And regarding the training times, see this,
