Age?

if he isn't trainable you could look for batsmen (due to his consistency he isn't a bowler) with the same skills for a couple of thousand in a few weeks. If he is well my YP

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: mediocre Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: woeful

is currently at 40k. so your player i'd say would go for around 25-30 but i wouldnt pay that much. as in a few weeks that price will drop to about 60%

Who Should be Captain?

Right I've got this slight issue in who I should make captain. I have a 17 yo with superb leadership skills but no experience. I have a 30 year old with proficient leadership skills and decent experience. Who would make the better captain?

I think (not 100% certain on this) that captains get slightly more experience, so by making your 17 y/o captain sooner means he'll have better experience in the future. Not too sure.

What are the exact experience differences? if It's 4-5 levels to older guy, any less and I'd go for the 17 y/o

Wanna post his skills? ;)

Also, always go for someone in your first team. No point selecting a player that isn't going to make the starting XI just because he has good leadership skills.

Right a couple of questions as my 1XI is changing quite a bit at the moment

1) I have 2 batsmen. One is respectable batting and feeble concentration. The other is comp/med. Which one would be the best to have?

2) I have a bowler who has proficient bowling and woeful consistency. I have another who is comp/comp. Which one would be better to have playing?

Cheers :cheers

For the two batsmen.
The stamina and fielding for the resp/feeble batsman are feeble/mediocre. He is 25.
For the comp/med guy he is med/woeful and is 28.

For the two bowlers.
The stamina and fielding for the prof/woeful are med/med. He is 23.
For the comp/comp guy it is comp/abysmal and he is 18

I generally have a view that a med/med is as good as a comp/feeb in terms of raw primary and secondary combination, if that's the case I'd go for the player with better stamina.

In your case, I'd play the resp/feeb guy and the bowler the prof/woef, but thats just with my reasoning.
