No refuelling. Good or bad?

Good win for Button in Melbourne. Alonso was lucky to hold on to fourth with Webber taking out Hamilton towards the end. Vettel was unlucky. He was on track for a podium finish until his brakes failed.

Podium? He would have won. Just having no luck at the moment.

Was a good race but I hope it doesn't mean we need rain every race to make it exciting.

Without rain or Hamilton and Webber that race would have been as boring as Bahrain. No one else is willing to take risks it seems.

I still think this season is going to be rubbish, unless there' a downpour each race. We have the situation now that without refuelling - most people won't come in and gamble on tyres and will just hold position.

Exactly where does he say he is the only one supposed to win? And it was Webber and McLarens fault. He has every right to complain about the strategy as it was obviously the wrong call.

Not to mention that Hamilton also overtook Button on track and on the same tyres.

I'm so fed up of these Hamilton bashers. I'm not sure if some of it is racist or just a dislike of his attitude but its pathetic. His attitude makes him one of the best drivers in F1. I don't want to see someone (like our England footballers) take losing well. He's a winner. We need more people like him at the top of our sports. Rooney has the same sort of attitude.

If you're wondering where this is from then on the BBC forum every seems to hate Hamilton and love Button. Saying Hamilton was gifted his title. Bollocks. He was cheated by the stewards in two races, otherwise he'd have won earlier. Glock was on dry tyres in the wet for the final lap - hence him going slowly. Hamilton had a superb Massa and Raikonen racing toe to toe with him all season. Button had a far superior car for the 1st seven races and effectively won the title in those 7 races. His only competition early was Barachello.

Very interesting race, far more lively compared to Bahrain. As far as Hamilton is concerned I can understand where he is coming from, but I dont think bashing his team in public is the right way to go. He is after all a part of the team.

Fernando Alonso still leading, Force India picking up points and a finish for Karun Chandok means its been a good weekend overall as far as I am concerned.

He didn't bash the whole team. He said "the team do a great job but the strategy was completely wrong." That's an attack on the strategy and the smug twat that is Whitmarsh. Mclaren are awful when it comes to strategy. If it weren't for Button, he wouldn't have finished in the top 5. HE made the decision to come in when he did. Not the team. Whitmarsh has the cheek to claim they made the decision.

Got to say I agree with Vaughan. Yes I can understand his frustration that his team made a complete mess up and he can vent his frustation but he did go over the top slightly, especially when he was shouting from within the car.

Has to be said that he did have a hell of a drive though we and Webber were the only ones who looked like they'd overtake when the track got dry.

Have to say the pointy chinned Spaniard came out with the weekends best quote:

what does he say?

I'm assuming you watched the video and can't understand. After being told "Hamilton 3.5, Hamilton 3.5" (seconds behind), he replies "Ok, but I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!!!!"

Yeah I did, I listened to it a few times and could only make out what Alonso was saying, not what he was replying to in the end. In the end I made Alonso's bit out to be, 'nobody cares, I don't wanna know.'
