Don't go making asumptions like that, i'm sure that you might know how topsy turvy F1 is, and you can't rule anyone out of being the champion, until the champion is actually crowned. I am also sure that you realise that it wont be a one horse party next year...... It most likely will be Ferrari, McLaren and Renault at the front, with Honda not to far behind with BMW and Williams roughly on par with each other. AS per the norm we will get a flash of brilliance from RBR..... Those are my very vague predictions for the season next year, and will try to live by this message LOL.

yes of late christian klein has been very impressive and you are right about my assumptions too but raikkonen is my favorite to be the champ next year

im not taking this great win of kimi away from him but one thing which has made this possible for him and Juan Pablo(in other races) is the fact that mp420B is class of the field by a mile  . The pace & balance of that car is just awesome. Whether they start at the end or front they end up being on the top of the podium. So you cant rate kimi right up there as favourite for the next season. im not being biased but if Ferrari even get there F2006 somewhere near to the pace of mclarens & Renaults then without doubt Michael Schumacher is gonna be starting favourites for the 2006 title.
The reason why im saying this is as u might have noticed this through out the season and specially today that even if the fastest car is bottled behind 7times champ who is unfortunately driving a limping ferrari he makes it so difficult for them to pass!

Remember the Belgian GP last season? The Ferrari was by far the best car, Kimi started 10th and still won! Also Brazil last year, Montoya and Raikkonen beat the Ferrari (Barrichello this time) comfortably. :p

I'm not doubting the class of Schumacher and never have, but he's got real competition with the likes of Montoya, Raikkonen and Alonso around, even with a good car.

Whilst I was impressed with how he held the two behind him like he did, the aerodynamic rules for this year have made it even harder to overtake than in previous years. Look at races like GB, Brazil, Belgium. All circuits that have been known for overtaking, yet, all were pretty uneventful in terms of that (as have most races).

Unfortunately no McLaren's, Renault's and Ferrari's coming through from the back of the grid this week...I shall not be staying up for this one either!

hmmm, noticed that BAR has lost/done away with the Lucky Strike sponsorship, they have now gone to '555'..... I'll be wide awake for the GP 2morrow :D

Lucky Strike and 555 are both BAT brands.

well, kev im not a smoker so i wouldn't know.... although it would explain them wanting to run two different liveries a while ago.

Or to have two of the most bizzare accidents in F1 history, considering the calibre of the driver!

Pity Kimi couldn't pull a magical drive out of his hat again.... And JPM, driving into the drain cover (practically invisible from the incar camera). Alsonso's car almost on fire in the paddock.... eventful none the less

It was almost as if they had never seen fire before, and Karthikeyan was almost having to ask 'please put the fire out.' Anyway nontheless a good race once again!
