Fair enough, my mistake, although I do find it strange how the ICC let him bowl it even for 6 weeks, especially as it had been proven illegal. Never the less he did threaten to bowl it in the second Test, although common sense obviously came to him in the actual match.

B) ok the icc and the srilankan board both r till in debate about this ,so what ever comments we make wont effect anything now or it wont prove any of us right or wrong ,

andrew anyway do u feel that murali doosra should be banned ?

Warnie for me. but he has done very little against India( the best players of spin) to earn the respect of the Indians.

Murali is a cheat i reckon. He chucks on the cricket field. When they test him he straitens his arm more. The biomechanical advantage of his elbow make it easier for him to spin the ball.
But you cant ban him now though, he's played too long to pick him up for it now, including the doosra.
Ill never think highly of him as a bowler no matter how many wickets he takes.

Of course you have the proof of this. Please remember that you're up against the finest bio-mechanical specialists in the world.

Yeah he's an aussie too!
I mean his arm, being slightly bent, does give him a spinning advantage. Basic biomechanics. Whether or not the ICC deem his deliveries illegal or not doesn't matter. Proof is not needed. Just watch his deliveries in slow motion, you'll see what i mean.
But i think warne is the best. Reguardless of whether he "cheated". He served his time and is still bowling well. Its a credit to him.

But having a bent arm is not against the laws. Straightening it is, and Murali does not straighten his arm in his normal deliveries. People on TV and biomechanical specialists have tried to prove this time and time again, and have failed.
