Group B - 9th Match Netherslands v Pakistan

Its nice to be able to enjoy some success, no matter how small as an England fan.

Our ODI record and form is to poor that when we play well its hard not to get excited, however we all know a terrible performance is just days away Lol.

The last time i got hyped after some England ODI performances was the 4-0 drubbing we gave South Africa at home, then look what happened in India Lol.

Since today. You posted in the thread congratulating him to ask if you could be made yellow!

Oh dear Lol.

We've won 5 out of our last 8 ODi series', with our 3 lost series against New Zealand twice and then the away series against India. We've beaten the Windies twice, smashed South Africa, beat Sri Lanka away and beat India at home. We've actually been better in ODi cricket than we have in Tests, winning only 3 of our last 8 Test series. 2 against New Zealand and 1 against West Indies. Our ODi side is not as bad as people makes out, and has performed better than the Test side.

Yeah i had forgotten about some of those series. Most notably Sri Lanka away and India at home. I can remember us beating Sri Lanka 3-2, but cannot remember the home victory against India Lol.

Oh dear Lol.

lol overload there :p

I like the balance of the T20 squad, i'll repeat myself, England with two spinners really do look good, I wouldn't really put Rashid in any other team for the time being but if Panesar can find some form (the records show that this season hasn't really been overly good) and Swann keeps up his great form, then I think the Ashes could see them both on the same pitch.

Strauss
Cook
Bopara
KP
Collingwood
Flintoff
Prior
Broad
Swann
Anderson
Panesar

Something along those lines, especially on some of these pitches if its sunny could really reward England for thier balls!

Panesar ahead of Rashid, and Flintoff batting higher than Prior = Automatic fail.

Bopara
Pietersen
Collingwood

Flintoff
Foster +
Broad
Swann
Anderson

That'd be the sex of a team. Got loads of batting, a keeper than can catch, and 4 very decent bowlers. The main problem being Flintoff's ability to bowl as part of a 4 man attack, which, given his recent fitness issues just isn't ideal. So I guess I'd have to pick Sidebottom ahead of Foster, with Gash coming in for Cardiff.

Whats Prior's average against teams other then the Windies?

Jesus mate, no need to tell it like it is. :(

If it helps i'm nearly 20. :(

Howsie, I reckon his average against teams other than the West Indies is something on or around the region of 0. Maybe 1 at a push.

Yeah a little, i only have 8 years on you i suppose. So whilst i should be thinking about a pension, you should be thinking about moving out and settling down. :p

Gas my man I have no intention of settling down right now! I'm promiscuous like that; I like to have a choice if you know what I mean. ;)

But yeah for the sake of topic let's all laugh at Australia. Oh wait that's on topic either, but who cares if Australia go out and we don't that is just hilarious.

It would be sad if the Netherlands are knocked out.
But,Pakistan will be backing themselves to beat them here.

If they need to win in 16 overs/ by a margin of 25 runs,I think they'll do it.
