At this stage of his carer Tim Southee is a pretty poor limited overs bowler. I think the selectors made the right call by not taking him over.

South Africa are batting first, that's what I wanted us to do. Now lets hope our bowlers can restrict them to under 180. No Vettori either.

Ryder, Franklin and Vettori are all out injured and South Africa is at full strength. Hoping we can pull off a win here, but our bowling looks weak.

This is a good start from Kyle Mills.

I was pretty surprised to see Oram get the new ball, but he was pretty good in that first over.

Shane Bond could be coming over right at this moment, doubt it but that would be good.

That was some of the best fielding I have seen in a long time, Brendon McCullum take a bow.

Three play and misses from Gibbs in a row, good bowling from Butler there.

My tip to be Champs have done well today.

Ian Butler has been really good today, he has beaten the bat so many times.

Good bowling this from McCullum.

Howsie added 9 Minutes and 54 Seconds later...

Martin Guptill that was outstanding

South Africa 128-7 of 20 over?s, New Zealand bowled really well and there fielding was world class. Should be a stroll in the park this chase, New Zealand to win with three over?s to spare.

Batting was poor by us after the first 6 overs. But they did shuffle the order around tried to give guys like jp,roelof and boucher some batting, didn't work. Bowling was very good.

Impressive display by the Kiwi bowlers in particular Butler who backed up his good showing against Scotland. With Vettori to come back in the Kiwis could be onto something here. The batting was disappointing though to only managed 127 in 20 overs with 5 wickets to spare especially after McCullum got them off to a solid start. Still great bowling by SA to make up for their poor batting display.
