I expected South Africa to win comfortably, but this was a decimation.

South Africa were really impressive in that game, there bowling was 10 times better then NZ's was yesterday.

South Africa are the side to beat. Superb performance. The spin of Botha and Van Der Merwe worked perfectly, and they've got Albie Morkel as 6th bowler ffs. What a side. ABDV is going to finish his career as one of the greats of the era as well, looks a tremendous talent. Excellent with the bat, and purely brilliant in the field. South Africa-India final I reckon.

That's the reason they were my favourites for this tournament. India v SA in the final would be some match. India just have to get rid of the NZ voodoo which I see them doing if they two meet in a semi.

Morkel was used in the right position and Kallis has been a revelation since being branded too slow for T20. Parnell is carrying on where he left off against us.

Oh gosh! South Africa crushed, killed and destroyed Scotland there. Thats a really surprising thrashing of a minnow team that I've seen.

South Africa look real favorites to win the tournament. De Villiers is playing like a champion, and guys like Gibbs, Kallis, Smith, etc are top class players. I too reckon it could be an India-South Africa final (hope India can get there) and that would be a final between the best sides in T20 in recent times.

i would like to see proteas against a better team and performing well
though this game was entertaining but this match wasn't difficult. RSA is a top side no doubt.

Apparently South Africa are going to use their full strength team here, well that?s what I read in the paper today anyway. New Zealand probably won?t have Vettori and Mills so we won?t be at full strength but it should be a cracker of a game. I?m really looking forward to seeing Martin Guptill pull Dale Steyn for multiple sixes

i think there are very good chances of rain today.
this is so frustrating for me as a kiwi fan.first,they don't telecast the warm up game against australia,then the match against scotland gets reduced to a 7 over match and now this?
anyway,dan's absence may make the kiwis look like minnows in today's game.so,its not such a bad thing afterall.

NZ have 2-3 really good players, like McCullum, Ross Taylor (few really good knocks in recent IPL),Ryder (can destroy bowling), it will be a good game,i just feel NZ lack new ball attack...

If the match is rained out, it would mean that in our super 8 pool we have Ireland, the Netherlands and Sri Lanka which would nearly guarantee our position in the semifinals. Even if the Netherlands lose, Pakistan have to beat them by a substantial margin (24 runs or 3 overs I think) to get through. Note I said nearly...we've seen what Ireland and the Netherlands can do.

It doesn't matter the outcome, we're playing the same teams regardless because it's fixed. Unless you're talking about the Pak v Netherlands game being washed out.
