Group D - 10th Match NZ v SA

He did well but partying over him smashing the Scottish bowlers ain't much to write home about. Lets see him make a 50 before saying he has proved his critics wrong.

Scotland would have won if they didn't field and bowl poorly...and how can bowl too many no balls in a 7 over game!!!

And LOL at the people who spoke too soon about Scotland winning. See, it's not over til it's over. Next time maybe wait until near the end.

We would have won easier if we got that batsman out off Franklin first ball and didn't bowl so badly ourselves. Woulda coulda shoulda. DIDN'T. Scotland aren't in the same league

But you were calling for him to be dropped for this game, and he came in and smashed 31 off 12 balls, so in a way he did prove you wrong.

Lol proving me wrong is no big deal, I called for Ponting and Clarke to be dropped and look what they did in the warm up.

O'Brien is a big concern I hope Mills is ready for the SA game.

Agree tbh I knew you had no cricket knowledge from the first time I saw you post.

Just jokes bro, you probably know more than I do.

You can thank me later, I do a lot of reverse jinxing! I was basically going on his IPL form, obviously didn't put much thought into it i.e looking at the replacements. For Clarke I had a case where I wanted to fit both Dussey and Warner in the side when Symonds was still around.

it's not unexpected this defeat but it highlights a weakness associates and smaller teams like bangladesh and zimbabwe need to sort.

you don't win or lose matches with fielding often, but it usually makes a big difference.

all the top teams are picked on their batting and bowling (and wicket keeping) almost no team is made up of the 11 best catchers and ball stoppers in the country. Associates should be able to compete on this level. and while it's unfortunate that we will bowl sitters, too slow, and get out to balls that other teams would put away, we should be able to run down or block 4's occassionally and take catches. Fielding should be more of a priority for small teams, as england showed yesterday, even the best teams get it wrong, but is associate nations can start fielding better than full members they will make many games much closer.

it's like in football, you can't teach players to score from 25 yeards, cut the field with deadly through balls and beat players. But you can make sure they are fit, fast and strong and can compete on physical level with better teams.

anyone else we glad we dont have to hear constant advertising and strategy breaks? world 2020 only proves IPL is trash, international cricket is where its at!

Tomorrow it is South Africa's day to show a message to the rest of the teams. I am hoping they will bat first.

Hell yes! That was the most stupidest thing I've ever seen. The shorter form of the games aren't meant to be broken up like that.

I don't think today's game will go ahead, the weather is awful. It should clear up for the England game.
