Our National side actually has 3 expensive bowlers in Siddle, Johnson and Lee so there is no reason why NSW can't have 2 of them.

Watson wasn't part of the NSW squad at the time of the Big Bash hence he can't play for us.

That's true I didn't think of that.

Yes I know, but he's Australian so he's not an import.

Our batting is a concern we got rolled for under a 100 against Victoria in the warm up. Katich 32 and Hughes 20 were the main scorers, Rorher got another hit scoring 21 from 12 balls. Bowling Steven Smith again our star with 3 wickets.

NSW all out 97

VICTORIA 7 for 111

That's not good, but we managed to restrict vic to 7/111 so it musn't of been a great batting strip.

India are still copping the monsoon, so there may be issues with rain delays and under-prepared pitches, especially before the tournament proper.

The Eagles have done okay so far in their warm-up matches, beating KKR and then losing to Delhi by 12 runs. Altho they did beat Delhi in the super over they decided to play for fun afterwards, not that that means a whole lot.

The team for tomorrow's game has already been named too.

The team (from):

Boeta Dippenaar (captain), Dean Elgar, Alan Kruger, Morn? van Wyk, Victor Mpitsang, Rilee Rossouw, Adrian McLaren, Ryan McLaren, Dillon du Preez, Thandi Tshabalala, CJ de Villiers, Ryan Bailey, Shadley van Schalkwyk.
