@Lee1981 Yes, as I have explained previously it really is a flawed system put in place by Rockstar. The only thing I can think of is that because you just came back out of bad sport you were still walking on thin ice.

Can't wait to get back into this on the PS4 version. I'll hopefully be able to get a load of funny videos to upload here.

I've pre-ordered the PS4 version today for £36.99 which is a relief given I'd seen it everywhere else closer to £50. Me and my mate are looking forward to letting off our FIFA-induced steam by causing chaos and making bloodbaths in higher detail. Also, when I get down about the dark and cold winter, I can take a drive along the sun-kissed San Andreas coastline! Bliss.

Thanks for beta testing for us PC folk .

I will be keeping an eye on the reception the PS4 version gets to see if they have done a good job of making the most of the more modern hardware in terms of visuals and population/traffic density etc. It should be incredible if they optimise it well - I was amazed at what they managed to do on the 360/PS3 although there were some hideously ugly visuals in places (e.g. ground textures on mountains, object pop-in etc.).

GTA IV was one of the shittiest PC ports of all time so I'll be keeping that in mind and see how it's received before making a purchase. Really hoping they do it justice on PC because at 60fps/1080p on ultra settings it could look incredible, and I'm sure the mods will be great.

Been looking at some vids of the first person mode... Wow! Looks really nicely done and as polished as other solely first person games. Will be amazing playing through the story again as an FPS.

All of a sudden January 27th seems a long way away .

Apparently there are no animals included in online mode, if true then that's a big disappointment. I wanted to go hunting!

Shame I wanted to be able to go throwing cows around using the forklift/digger with people online... Pretty hilarious in single player though at least.

I'm hoping there will be more building interiors in the new versions - I was kinda disappointed at how few buildings you could enter on 360. Probably not been something they've worked on though.

Just saw that the game runs at 30fps on PS4/XB1, damn that sucks So glad I opted for PC this gen.

I've installed that. Once you've done that you have to actually install the game, and it tells you to check your settings to make sure the PS4 won't turn itself off during the install. It recommends turning that setting to at least an hour!

I'm currently on 55%.
