I hope the game has more character than San Andreas had. Highly unlikeable main character and ridiculous street gang storylines.
Suit. Fast Car. Classic Radio Station. Sold.
Would also be nice if GTA remember that it's a game for number 5. I do not want to have to eat and drink, watch my weight and go bowling with an idiot or take a girl out. All very well being 100 hours of game, but not if 95 hours are spent driving some numpty from A to B, then from B to A with police following.

Yeah, I didn't like SA's main character at all and the storylines weren't of my liking either. I'd love to see GTA visit the 40/50s Mafia era - sure we have the Mafia games, but they're not really proper 'open world go anywhere-do anything' games, are they?

Basically, I'd like them to take their finger out their asses and release Grand Theft LA Noir.
Yeah some people love the Mafia games, but I never really got into them. Something about taking the GTA staple of drive from A to B and then trying to make me do it in a car that has a top speed of 40mph just wasn't fun.
I still haven't played Saints Row 2, but the third one looks interesting enough. Kinda looks like everything GTA was a few releases ago. Got Gta IV on my laptop with the hope of playing it with the Icenhancer mod but I got bored pretty quickly.

Have heard SR3 is a bit crap, though that is a heard!
Anyway, I put GTA IV in the PS3 today, it's been about 18 months since I finished it. Good grief, the graphics felt rough and the driving physics felt awful. Very vague.
Anyway, Rockstar rarely fail to impress.
If GTA V had elements of Vice City, the map size of San Andreas (just about right imo, not like IV) and some elements from IV. The end missions from SA were just awesome.
As said, no more sodding pigeons or the tedious friendship stuff from IV and I think you'll have a great game.
Hopefully they'll be able to bring bits across from Noire as well.

See I like the idea of Roman. Read a good article describing him as one of the most successfully realised Cpu characters. He's meant to be annoying, and actually is.
Really Sureshot? I have been keeping a close eye because I have my doubts from a few videos I've seen that it looks like they might have gone too far, and it didn't seem responsive enough. Still, just one video and I'll wait to see what people say before I even consider picking it up, and that will probably wait until it gets a bit cheaper as well.
Bottom line, too many ridiculously good games at the moment or coming up!
Who the hell releases Dark Souls, Arkham City, Skyrim and Fifa 12 within a month of each other. Don't they realise I have a bank balance to worry about :/

Looking at "The Most anticipated games of 2012" thread, next year's releases are pretty turd. Other than Mass Effect 3 there are pretty much no must buys in there.

Why forced, I think you didn't heard rumored features from the guy from PS3 Magazine but then again they are rumors.
