31st August 2007 - Friday Night Smackdown from Honolulu, HI.

Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore vs Jamie Noble & Gregory Helms:
Smackdown began with the restart of the Cruiserweight division with this tag team match. Noble/Helms began by putting pressure on Wang Yang, making him hurt with double team moves and submission holds. As Wang Yang began to sniff a tag, Gregory Helms took advantage and with a running Shining Wizard to the face of Shannon Moore, who fell off the canvas, which left Noble to finish Wang Yang with a dragon clutch for the win.

Segment One & Two:
With Helms and Noble looking proud of themselves, Cole and JBL hype the night's events and The Cutting Edge begins. Edge arrives with Randy Orton, Stephanie McMahon and Y2J, who explain their actions. McMahon tells the crowd that they are sickened by Batista and intend to destroy him. She also says that Edge, Orton and Jericho are a prime example of evolution. As the crowd realise what this means, Orton tells a backstage Batista that they are Evolution V2!

Suddenly, The Animal storms to the ring and scares Evolution V2 out of the ring. He grabs the microphone and tells them that he will get them tonight, because he proposes a six man Tag Team main event! The crowd pop and Orton accepts. Who will be Batista's other partners?

Montel Vontavious Porter vs Rey Mysterio - United States Championship:
With the rematch from SummerSlam, the master of the 619 begins well, doing what he didn't do at the PPV. Rey attacked MVP wherever he tried to go, especially since he tried to get a chair and DQ himself. As Rey gained the upper hand, he tripped MVP onto the ropes with a springboard enzurgiri and went for the 619... GOT IT! Mysterio leaps onto the ropes, WEST COAST POP! 1...2...NOO! Finlay smashed Rey with his shillelagh and MVP was DQ'ed, yet he still retains.

Segment Three:
Teddy Long makes his way to the ring, as MVP and Finlay destroy Mysterio. He tells MVP that at Unforgiven, he will face Rey again, but if MVP is DQ'ed or counted out etc, he will lose his title! As MVP has a tantrum, the scene switches to Bobby Lashley and his new mentor, Ric Flair. Kristal interviews them about their new partnership, until King Booker interrupts and shoves Lashley. Bobby reacts, they brawl and Lashley spears Booker through a nearby table! As Booker recovers, he tells Lashley he wants him in the ring later, an offer which Lashley accepts...

Deuce & Domino vs The Hooliganz - World Tag Team Championships:
With D&D looking to retain again, Paul London begins with his whirlwind style to shut down Deuce. London connects with a powerful superkick, yet he gets only the two count. But, Deuce tags in Domino and he starts to show why he is a Tag Team Champion, hitting The Hooliganz with powerful kicks and clotheslines. However, The Hooliganz demonstrate their heart and start to team up on D&D to regain control and after an evenly balanced ten minutes, Brian Kendrick tosses Domino into the corner, grabs his head and hits the Sliced Bread #2! 1... Deuce crawls into the ring, 2... Paul London jumps at him and pulls him to the ground, 3...!

Segment Four:
As The Hooliganz celebrate their new reign as champions, D&D take things out on Cherry, who just skates away and lets the two argue. The cameras change to the office of Stephanie McMahon and Evolution V2. In there, Y2J discusses his game plan for the main event with Orton and Edge, who decide they need to teach Batista a lesson in respect. When Edge makes the point of Batista's partners, Orton tells him not to worry: they can beat them, no matter what happens...

Bobby Lashley w/Ric Flair vs King Booker w/Queen Sharmell:
The two men square up and start with a toe-to-toe brawl, hitting each other with hard shots and slaps. Instantly, Ric Flair's style shines through in Lashley, who takes control with Flair's famous knife edge chops to the chest. As the King is backed into a corner, he is forced to take action and tells Sharmell to distract the ref, which she does. Booker crawls to the outside and grabs a chair, but Ric Flair lowblows him! Lashley drags him into the ring and nails a huge Dominator onto the ringpost to get the pinfall win.

Segment Five:
With Booker holding his grapefruits and Flair putting Lashley on a pedestal, a video hype of Batista and Orton begins, documenting their whole feud. With the ring cleared, Evolution V2, with their own ring entrance/music/video tell Batista to get the hell out of the back and he does to their delight. He says that he has found his partners and familar music begins:

BOOM! GONG!

The crowd go wild, as the Brothers of Destruction appear on the ramp, out of nowhere!

Evolution V2 vs Batista & Brothers of Destruction:
Batista begins with Y2J on his in-ring return. The Animal gains the quick goings, backing Jericho into a corner and hitting him with repeated body splashes and clotheslines. Y2J tagged with Orton, who went straight to Batista and they embarked in an epic brawl, with both men ending up on the floor for an almost double knockout. But, Batista managed to get in the monstrous Kane and he dominated Edge with big boots and he climbed the turnbuckle. FLYING CLOTHESL... NO, WHAT A SPEAR! Edge speared Kane in mid-air and he hooked the leg... 1...2...NO! Undertaker managed to tag himself in and he instantly grabbed Edge by the neck and CHOKESLAM! As the rest of the men brawled, Undertaker signalled for the Tombstone Piledriver... GOT IT! 1...2...3!

Rating: A*

Segment Six:
With everyone nearly dead apart the Undertaker, he taunted the motionless Rated R Superstar, but he was hit in the head with a chair from behind by a hooded man! The man is booed and he takes off his hood... IT'S AJ STYLES! STYLES IS IN THE WWE! Smackdown goes off the air with mixed reactions for Styles, who stands tall in a sea of bodies.

Hold onto your hat, Mr. President! RAW rolls into Washington DC for a hell of a show, full of cross-brand action...

The show will open with a taste of things to come at Unforgiven, as the Big Red Machine, Kane takes on the cocky, Shelton Benjamin. With Mr. Kennedy also in action on the show against Finlay, who will grab the momentum ahead of the big Intercontinential Title match?

RAW's main event involves superstars from Smackdown, as the team of John Cena, Umaga and Randy Orton take on D-Generation X and the animal, Batista. With all the men involved in their own personal rivalries, which team will stand tall? It is sure to be a historic battle...
