WWE SummerSlam - Preview
26th August 2007

The Biggest Party of the Summer is finally here in East Rutherford, New Jersey and it is set to change all three brands forever.

The night will begin with the bout for the United States Championship, between Rey Mysterio and Montel Vontavious Porter. For weeks now, Mysterio has been beaten down by the champion and his accomplice, the Fighting Irishman, Finlay. Can Rey conquer Porter and grab his first United States Championship? Or can MVP hold onto the title again?

Since the Hardyz reunited, they have been lighting up the Tag Divison on RAW. Tonight, they will square up with Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Will the Hardy Boyz capture their seventh Tag Team titles? Or could Cade & Murdoch deny the high flyers and keep their reign going...

Edge has recently been involved in a bitter feud with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. Although despite a spear through a table, last week on Smackdown, Flair will face Edge tonight. Who will win, young and confident, or wise and experienced?

ECW's first match is a brutal Street Fight between Shane McMahon and Mick Foley. With the winner becoming the GM, there is a lot at stake for these two brawlers. But, who will walk out of SummerSlam as the winner? Besides, these two are hardcore legends.

In the first of the major title matches, The ECW Championship's fate will be decided, as Carlito takes on CM Punk for the vacant title. They both reached this match after a tournament on ECW. Carlito has defeated Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam, whilst Punk has beaten Marcus Cor Von and Elijah Burke. Who will prevail in the battle of extreme? And will the dominant teams have say in the match? Anything can happen...

The main event for Smackdown is between two former friends. One is an animal, the other is a legend killer. With Orton and Batista wanting to hurt each other so badly, fists are set to fly. But, can who will keep their cool and win the World Heavyweight Championship?

Recently, John Cena has been in a rivalry with King Booker over the WWE Championship. After chair shots, chokings and stealthy attacks, Cena can finally wreak some havoc in a Falls Count Anywhere match. But he has one problem, Mr. Kennedy. Can Cena overcome the odds again? Will Booker grab the championship? Will Kennedy take his first major title in the WWE?

Shane McMahon vs Mick Foley - Street Fight, Winner becomes GM of ECW

Come on people, get those predictions in!

I am halfway through writing SummerSlam, so it will be posted in the next few days. There are eight possible prediction points, so the leaderboard can change...

Remember, the winner gets to choose a hiring for the company (wrestlers, staff, managers, even referees)

EDIT: I have finished SummerSlam, it has taken me roughly an hour and a half to two hours, but iTunes got me through it. You have exactly three days to predict.
