And how about DD being able to disarm Malfoy, but instead jinxing Harry. He could have rapped up Malfoy, stunned Harry, then either made a getaway,or waited for the rest of the DE'S.I think DD could have done this quiet easily, but why he did not, just adds to the theory that he did indeed want to die.

quite possible but i still like the severus snape-innocent theory
the one posted by sachin where snape tells DD that he's bored or something like that.

Yeah
as it must have taken a lot of courage to kill DD.
Also to lie to voldemort for so many days.

Yeah true,he wouldn't have said that,if he didn't have alot of pressure on him.I mean if he was on Voldies side,he wouldn't have that pressure(DD trusts him blindly,so that wouldn't nearly be as much pressure on him,as it he would be facing Voldie).

and plus you require a lot of mental strength to be able to block your mind comtinuolsy and very often against the world's best occlumens and legilimens.

Very true. What do you feel about ther being know more school(Hogwarts)? This(The Seventh Book) will be,a very dark tale, where will the fun be?There will be Fluer and Bills wedding(Maybe Tonks and Lupin will have a double marriage with them-Official prediction),but what else? What time will they have for the fun and light stuff that we all love?I just hope that it has some uplifting moments.

the marriage sounds a stupid idea to me.
like after dumbeldore's death going for a marriage is quite stupid.

It would also be sad to note that there would no longer be hogwarts in the hP series.

What all will be there to look forward for.
1.Snape-why does dumbeldore trust him
2.The history of lily and james potter
3.marauders and peter pettigrew
4 the visit to godrics hollow
5 horcruxes and the final war.

and of course many many more things.

And you also talk about the time they will be having.
You are maybe forgetting that harry has not yet lost Hagrid and i feel that their relation would be closer than ever before now that dumbeldore's gone.
Hagrid is and definately has a bigger role to play in the last book or thats what i feel.

ALBUS DUMBELDORE ia an animagus-A PHOENIX ?

Latest just came across this

How many of you feel so?
Phoenixes are reborn after their deaths.
Flames engulf dumbeldore's body at his funeral and Harry thought he saw a phoenix fly from the flames.

Is he an animagus ? Is he still alive ? In the form of a phoenix ?
Ruffus Scrimgeour also says that'Even Dumbeldore cannot'......
i think he meant to say cannot come back.
Does he know dumbeldore's a phoenix. ? :happy

And there will be a wedding.

Yeah,i think DD is well and truly gone.

Maybe Fawkes is a horocruxe of Dumbledore...

How did he know to help Harry against the Basilisk. Its like Voldey and that snake. They seem to much under their controll...

Go wash your mouth out! :p
Dumbledore would never create a horcrux.

Another reason why Snape hates Neville too?

As you may well know, Neville was born the day before Harry, so it was as the 7th month ended and all that, but if Voldemort tried to kill him instead, would it have made a difference seeing that Neville is pure-blood not a half-blood?

'He [the eavesdropper] only heard the beginning, the part foretelling the birth of a boy in July to parents who had thrice defied Voldemort. Consequently, he could not warn his master that to attack you would be to risk transferring power to you.'

Now I am probably wrong as my memory is rusty, but this was taken from the JK site, and was the eavesdropper Snape? Who then realised that Voldemort messed up trying to kill Harry, thought he wouldn't have messed up trying to kill Neville instead, which is why Snape hates Neville?
