I like the theory that he died falling of the tower....oh...got the book last night, finished it half an hour ago...

R.A.B....calls him Dark Lord...someone who knows about really dark stuff. He also seemed to noble to be Sirus's brother-whatever his name is-he was vicious. Now lets see what names start with R: Roger, Ronald-Ronald Arthur....Weasly? Bah, no way in hell, Rick, Ricky, no ideas...
Like the new minister...I thought the Half-Blood Prince was Voldy, and I think I am still right-Snape went with his dad to school. Book was published before their time. So...
But then, Snape's mom was a witch, it could have been a hand-me-down. Doubtful. Could Snape had said that for some reason...like to throw Harry off guard, but why??? Its confusing, or did Rowling make a blunder...

Snapes dad was a muggle. He didn't go to Hogwarts.
RAB is almost certainly Regalus; JKR basicly confirmed it in the post-release interview.

I said mom...

I still doubt that he is THE R.A.B...

That is weird,i mean she usually wouldn't confirm things that are for the seventh book, when we are two years away from the next one.I wonder why,he can't be that important, surely.

the plot is a two part series of which the first part is book six and the second part is book seven.

You are both confusing me!What i am saying about Regelus not being important is why would she divulge that sort of information/It does look like he will be very important to the plot,ut maybe he won't be.Theory should be ready tonight.Though it isn't some sort of masterpeice, probably can be explained awaylike that,'CLICK!'.

This won't be long, but to me it is pretty telling.
Harry,Hermione and Hagrid have just left the hospital wing, where the Weazley family is visiting Ron,after he has been posioned.

"Well-i jus' heard Snape sayin' Dumbledore took to much fer granted an' maybe he-Snape-didn' wan' ter do it anymore-"Hagrid

"Do what?"Harry

"I dunno,Harry,it sounded like Snape was feelin' a bit overworked.tha's all-anyway,Dumbledore told him flat out he'd agreed ter do it an' that was all there was to it.Pretty frirm with him.An' then he said summat abou' Snape makin' investigations in his House,in Slytherin."Hagrid-Abrieviated

There is a few things that can be drawn from this sequence-
We know in the end that DD did suspect Malfoy of sending the Cursed necklace, and the poisoned bottle of Oak-matured mead. How did he come to have this suspicion?Has Snape told him about the Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa?Apart from Harry accusing Malfoy of giving the cursed necklace to Katie Bell and poisoned bottle of mead to Slughorn, and there was know strong evidence for Malfoy being involved with any of these things, why did DD suspect Malfoy? What other evidence was there for it?.(What are your opinions on this?)By saying there needed to be Investigations into Snape's house, was DD thinking of Malfoy?

What does Snape think DD is taking for granted?Obviously his work with the Death Eaters, but something especially hard or straining, must have been happening to him for him to say that he was overworked and that he wasn't sure whether he wanted to do 'it' anymore.Would this been the pressure of finding out what Malfoy was doing, that if he failed he'd have to do it for him, whatever that was(or he could have died, but dark people don't like dying.)?Snape couldn't have been doing anything else while he was at school(Committing any crimes,or conversing with any known Death Eaters),so thats surely what Snape was alluding to.Why was DD so firm on Snape?

I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on this little theory.
I want Snape not to be Evil!

Hmm...

Goes back down to that DD wanted to die. Snape probably didn't wanna keep investigating, keep lying to Voldy, while DD was searching for the Horocruxes and was taking Snape's work for granted. Also, he might have been takign his luck that he had survived for granted...

Now why did he beg Sercerus to kill him...not for the Horcruxes...maybe didn't want him to die, but falling of the tower did it...

Well all i can make out of this is.

There is obviously more to Albus Dumbeldore and Severus Snape than meets the eye.

Snape does'nt seem evil and this just proves it.DD wanted to die and was pleading snape to kill him.It seems to me that snape knows something very important regarding voldemort.DD just did not want snape to break the unbreakable vow and die and maybe thats why dumbeldore shows harry the next memory which he was only intent on showing it to him when harry had got it from slughorn.
