What do people think about Snape lying to Bellatrix and Narcissa about how DD got his injuries?He said he gpt them from the fight with Voldie,when he in fact got them from destroying the Ring.What do you guys think?

Or he doesn't know.I hope he is with them,but Harry will never be sure."He is an excellent Occlumens?Isn't he?"..........And he isn't as forgiving as DD,or as likely to trust him.He did kill DD.Will he be forgiven?I doubt it.How about DD appointing Snape to the DADA position,when he new that he would be gone by ther end of the year?Maybe he decided to give him the position,after Snape made the unbreakable Vow,so that he wouldn't have to die.Sorta thing DD would do.

Maybe snape first made the vow then told DD about it.
DD must have thought that snape's life is more important(we'll understand why later)
than his.Thats why he asked snape to do it.

Yeah,but JK gave the impression that it was deluded to think Snape wasn't evil.Read that Interview(Leaky Cauldron-Mugglenet),and you'll see it fairly early on.

Sorry to start this back up again
But i was re-reading the book and came across this interesting piece of evidence to suggest that Snape is definately not evil

In chapter two i.e 'Spinner's End' , Snape says',"It would have been foolish to kill Dumbeldore's favourite student in front of him or to allow him to be murdered in front of me."
He says this when Bellatrix asks him why harry potter is still alive when Snape had had him at his mercy for 5 years.

In the end ,in the chapter 'The Lightning Struck Tower' , we see that Dumbeldore is shot off by Snape , who uses the Avada Kedavra against him or the killing curse.

Then Snape and Potter have a duel in 'The Flight of the Prince'At that time Snape actually stops a Death Eater from taking Harry and he himself does not cause any harm to Harry.Also he repels Harry's curses and does not counter-attack.
What is this supposed to mean?
Snape is defiantely not EVIL.

Also, has anyone here seen the GoF movie trailer? It seems to be better than the first 3, but I was shocked to see that Beauxbatons had only girls?!?! Didn't they have boys too in the book?

And Moody looks retarded. Seriously, he looks like an idiot! I feel the movie will be better than the first 3, but it'll still suck

I saw the trailer and must agree with you that it will be better than the first three if they dont put in their own ideas.

Beauxbatons also had boys ,but maybe they wanted to make it charming with only girls in the fray.

Then why did Bartemius Crouch Jr dressed up as Mad Eye Moody try and kill Harry in the end of book 4 ?

He has to look deadly and aggressive.He's nothing compared to what I expected of him.In front of him , even Remus Lupin (3rd book) looks way better and healthier.

Talking about Crouch Jr, he tried to kill Harry after the Tri Wizard Final ,when Harry came back after witnessing Voldemort's re-birth.

I think Crouch Jr being a Death Eater must have felt the Dark Mark burn on his skin.
Similar incidents we know took place with Snape and Karkaroff.

So,I think he would have known that his Lord had indeed come back.
