He's definitely not trying to play properly, so IMO that only leaves three options:

1. He's here to take the piss.
2. He's individually aligned.
3. He's mafia.

Callum, in otherwords we lynch him off and see what happens. But then again, if he is the jester, then that would be a pointless game where the game was won before the first night even happened.

Or maybe he's making us think he wants to be lynch so we don't lynch him, but that could be thinking a little too much

If he was mafia, then he would be trying to save his skin/the other mafia would be telling to shut the hell up.

If he was townie, then he'd be trying to save himself.

If he was individually aligned he'd be trying to save himself unless he's trying to get lynched.

That's really the only explanation, unless he's just here for a good time and pissing people off.

But that would serve no purpose at all. The mafia would know that he is this role and then they'd kill him.

I don't think so ATM, it's too much of a risk if he's individually aligned. Also he might say some more stupid stuff over the next 24 hours, which could give us a clue.

He could have some sort of mafia sacrificial role.

Maybe only a small possibility but he could be mafia and they've taken a gamble in letting Matt act so stupid that it makes us seem sure he is not mafia which could also take the attention away from any other mafia. But we'd have to lynch him soon enough as it will get too annoying putting up with him.
