Darkness descended over Hogwarts and everyone went to sleep, safe in the knowledge that one of their enemies had been slain in battle. This being Hogwarts, though, not everyone was enjoying a peaceful night...

Through the night there was much secret movement around the castle. A whole variety of cloaks, vanishing potions and invisibility spells were used to help the inhabitants do what they wanted to do and get up to their tricks.

It wasn't inside the castle that the dark forces went to work, though, but outside. A mysterious figure crept through the trees of Hogwart's grounds and down to the small hut. He saw a crack in the window and quietly poked his want through. A whisper later, and green shot from the wand and a life was taken.

In the morning, expecting to see the very friendly giant around, there was some unease. A search was sent out to see if they could find him, and in his hut they saw his corpse laying in the bed. The whole castle was truly chilled by the events, as MaD's body was brought back inside.

MaD was Rubeus Hagrid, Team Hogwarts-aligned Lovable Giant Groundskeeper

It is Day 2! It will take 8 votes to cause a lynch.

I was hoping we would get something from the writeup but there is absolutely nothing there to work from. He's definately making this a tougher game than we did.

idk, maybe unlynchable because of the Lovable Giant role? That's a guess though. Otherwise, probably a vanilla townie.

Well, a pity we lost you MaD.
Its interesting how MaD was targetted.
Anyways I have the great displeasure to announce that we have mafia in the group that lynched paki.
The reason why I say this is because, it was obviously a staged idea.
The mafia had one inactive member and they wanted to look as townie as possible by leading the lynch on a member.
Which is probably why they sacrificed one of their own to help their own cause and look all goody townie.
Anyways its late night, so am not going to start pointing anything right now, but we will have to find the mafia within this group of people.

Just so you know, I am not above suspicion (since I was a part of the group). Feel free to ask me questions, I will answer everyone's question (if they have any).

Yeah, I thought about Bodyguard but I just doubt it for some reason. And yeah, I had thought of that possibility since he wasn't going to help them at all and he wouldn't have objected to any of the other's thoughts (obviously). It just depends whether they have an experienced mafia member among them. Although I think Chez would make sure there's at least one good mafia member playing.

Anyway, let's just wait for others to post and then go from there.

I think they would have waited for a while though - when everyone was targetting Matt, they would have jumped on there (unless he does turn out to be mafia). They would only have voted paki when it was obvious that people were changing their votes towards him. So I doubt the first few and the last vote would be mafia. But there are very likely to be mafia in the middle somewhere.

I was thinking what Jono said, I'd say it's more likely that the later votes on Paki are mafia, once they'd realized that it's obvious that he's getting voted off.

Looking at the votes I was one of the last people to change from Matt to Paki, so I'm kind of contradicting myself.

Anyway, I have a theory on his role. Since Hagrid was the keeper of keys, he would have access to every room in Hogwarts. Maybe he could move people around in the middle of the night. I think me might have been the bus-driver.

Thought Matt might have been a target - he is pretty annoying. The reasons they didn't went for him could have been:

1) He's Mafia
2) He causes so much confusion, it enhances their cause.

Either way, I can't think of any reason why he might be helpful to us.

I agree, and going by that logic, p23456789 is a prime target for suspicion. Kept very quiet, no lynched straight away, and changed his mind when everyone else gunned for paki007.

Yeah, he has been very quiet so far. It is his first game but then again, normally town members playing their first game normally try and help at least a little and post a little more even if their posts aren't great and not really helping a great deal.

I just wish Matt would play properly but as Callum said, if he posts one more stupid post, I'm most likely going to lynch him straight away.

His role as keeper of keys isn't the most well known, so I doubt he'd be the bus driver. Body guard makes most sense to me, because Hagrid can't really use magic, and a bodyguard is normally some huge guy that uses force to achieve what he wants.
